Nice long stay in thamel area !

I initially booked for couple of nights here. But then quickly realized that this place is perfect for my longer stay in kathmandu. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful, and i liked their sincere approach to attend guest’s requests. Price is also very reasonable for the thamel area. I would surely visit and recommend to friends.

We are very happy to be there. But facility doesn't have tea sachets, refrigerators, dressing tables inside the rooms. So you always go to bathroom to makeup, but overall the price of 27 per day is cheapest in Thamel area. The taxi service was also good. The driver Mr rakesh was having good sense of humor, so we never felt anything annoying things in Kathmandu.

Nice ambience. Helpful staff and there restaurant is amazing, they serving delicious food. All the places are near to this hotel. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is having five floors but there is no lift, hence inconvenience for the elderly people like me. It also does not have provisions for tea or coffee in the room and there is no room service from the hotel.

The stay was definitely memorable one, as till late night the market is open and you can have a good stroll.
As informed the minus point is there is no lift in the building. Restaurant which is attached has limited vegetarian options.
Room is clean but not spacious enough.

A well organised and managed hotel from every respect! We had a very good experience staying in Thamel Grand Hotel for 5 nights. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel which serves various meals during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food quality is very good but little costly compared to other restaurants around. They also arrange LIVE music occasionally which is an awesome experience! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The lady receptionist was very much disappointing and she spoiled my whole trip, don’t have lift it was very difficult to stay at 6th floor without lift

No food services in hotel. No restaurant in hotel, no tea coffee things in room no pick or drop from hotel booked for 7nights but cheched out after 1 night no refund for 6 nights

Hotel not as seem to be on Makemytrip photos. Its a small Hotel, though parking space but no parking (car or bike is allowed inside). Black Olive restaurant is part of it, serves mediocre food but service is good. Rooms are small, toilet is clean but lacks toiletries. TV is small and remote had a problem. Ample sockets for charging Mobile or laptop. Its average hotel.
