Excellent hotel in little india. Very well connected. Very friendly and supportive staff. Reception and f&b staff go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. A wonderful experience!

Stay was really nice and appreciate mr. Prabav and ronny to assist us in best of their hands. Thought rooms are little congested including bathrooms but overall marriott experience was great. I have booked this property for 3 adults and 1 kid.

We stayed at this hotel from 17-21 july. Very good location. All the tour buses have a pickup point, all good malls for shopping, eating joints including pure vegetarian situated at stone throw distance. Hotel is very good, very clean and hygienic, daily proper room cleaning without any reminder. Food quality is very good. Overall a home away from home.

Location was very very good, near the mrt, and many vegetarian restaurants. Situation next to komal violas & opposite saravanabhavan. Only challenges were lack of a trolley to move luggage esp when no bell man. Next was lack of a coin operated laundry machine.

Serangoon house singapore is a charming hotel located in little india, directly opposite the saravana bhavan restaurant. While the hotel is compact, it offers a comfortable stay with all the essential amenities. However, there are some minor service issues, such as the air conditioning being too strong at night and slow service during breakfast, possibly due to understaffing. Despite these concerns, the overall experience was pleasant, and i would consider returning in the future.

Rooms are small, bathroom does not have locks. You can clearly hear people talking inside rooms while in the corridors on the floors. If you book for multiple people to stay in the rooms please note even though you book through mm t clearly mentioning the number of adults staying in the room, the property charges you 60 sgd per adult per day. This is hidden in fine print. The biggest plus is the location (if you want indian food, else i'm sure there are better places to stay

The makemytrip experience was bad. I was charged for breakfast but it was free at the hotel. I was additionally charged for extra persons even after making reservation for 4 people, bad experience

No transparency in the rates charge

While the service of the staff was excellent, rooms were very small and does not match up to the price charged. Make my trip did not disclose that there were charges for the 3rd and 4th guest in addition to the amount paid for 4 guest- this was informed to us almost 8 hours after check in @ hotel. This was a rude shock to us.

Unclear booking and overcharging by hotel

The stay and food was okay however we were overcharged by the hotel. We had booked for 3 persons in the room and charged for the same. At the time of booking despite the voucher saying that the booking was for 3 people we were asked to pay for the third person. An extra person is always over and above the booked number. Also the price of room for two people is lesser than price for three people. We had paid for three people booking in the room but the hotel over charged us. We asked for help from mm t and were on international call for over 40 minutes but to no avail. We were asked to pay the amount the hotel is asking and had to pay more than 360 s$ for an additional person despite booking for the same and paying for it. It was an unpleasant experience and we pray nobody has to undergo the same. Hopefully there is no fraudulent activity going to fleece money from the tourists. Please be very careful and have utmost clarity before booking lest you end up paying much more than planned.

Hotel room size is 5x4 which is extremely small no swimming pool and washroom size 2 feet x 1 feet . That’s too small rather will consider it as unbreathable.
