A beautiful property in an awesome location

Me and my wife are having our extended honeymoon. We opted Srilanka for its beach and nature. Bentota was the perfect place for that. We entered the centara cuenod property. We were welcomed by a drink(passion fruit and really good one must try). From there once confirmed we were guests we were transferred to the NH Bentota Ceysands Resort via speed boat, that's when we realised the NH Bentota Ceysands Resort is a small strip of land that is in between the river and the sea. The whole concept was amazing. Its simply romantic. We checked in the rooms were superior category. It's really beautiful with the river view and the balcony. The rooms are well cleaned. The overall feel was amazing. If you're with couple or friends I would totally suggest this property. I stayed there for 150$ for 2 nights with breakfast and it was totally worth it. It's a five star NH Bentota Ceysands Resort and the breakfast buffet is totally worth it. The stay there was comfortable. The staff was helping and courteous. The pool and the sea is total romantic add ons.
Perfect Beach Resort.

A Resort that is a 4 star but deserves a 5 star rating. The concept is amazing. You are escorted from the reception to the main NH Bentota Ceysands Resort company a steamer. Gives you a very grand and private experience. Since the Resort is on Bentota Beach, the view from the rooms is super awesome. The Beach can be accessed instantly, anytime. The swimming pool is one of the best. I stayed at 5 NH Bentota Ceysands Resorts in Sri Lanka and center Centara's pool was the biggest and the cleanest. The breakfast was scrumptious. Salads, fresh juices, fruits, different types of eggs, tea cakes, indian food and what not. It was a feast. The hospitality was amazing. Super prompt service. It's a must visit. This Resort is an experience.
Serene pool and beach, okish rooms

Good > pool is huge, clean and beautiful. Facilities around the pool like towels, shacks, bar and showers are excellent the beach is serene, calm and private. Tip - don't miss the sunset on the beach not so good > food ( veg ) is not so good. The buffet does not have lot of variety. On busy days, the buffet food is not refilled adequately and not warm. Rooms - the rooms are functional and didn't experience any problems however the interior of the room is old and too dark. Tip - try to buy mm t full food package as it includes unlimited complimentary drinks in pool bar, lunch, dinner and evening bar ( selected bar menu )

My wife and i were there for our honeymoon and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend it at. The hospitality that the resort people showered towards us is astounding. The food was exceptional and their dj nights, live bands, water sports, private beach is an icing on the cake. I must say i have made memories for life with my wife in the most beautiful place. And a huge shout out to mr. Praneetha who was guardian angel to have taken care of us like his own. Overall, thank you centara ceysands resort and spa. We are eternally grateful for your hospitality and luxurious stay. Hope to see you soon
Great stay

The resort is located between the River Bentota Ganga on one side and the Indian ocean on the other. You have to take a small boat ride to cross the river to get here. The NH Bentota Ceysands Resort has a ferry service to get you from the main reception to the resort. The rooms are spacious and clean. The housekeeping staff was excellent, especially Sugath who did some wonderful towel art. The resort has a massive pool, with a bar the beach is just a stones throw away. There are water sports activities on offer at the resort itself. It's a great place to come on vacation as a couple or with family.
The Centara experience

We arrived early in the NH Bentota Ceysands Resort before the usual check-in time. As the room we booked was occupied, we got an upgrade at the same price and also, early check-in. All the staff were very courteous. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent with a wide variety of menu to choose from, especially the dessert section. Loved the Singaporean chilli crab, seafood satay and puddings, to name a few. The boat ride experience from the NH Bentota Ceysands Resort entrance at Alluthgama to the main NH Bentota Ceysands Resort in Bentota across the river was a nice experience.

The property is at a very good location. Moreover, the hospitality is super amazing they even offered us a free lunch at their cage beam restaurant considering a lot of people from europe, they did not have any indian dishes, but the she-ff came to us and prepared whatever we asked like, butter chicken pane-er butter masala which was just amazing he even cooked paranthas for us. The best part was that the entire staff was so courteous, and it was an overwhelming experience. I would recommend a must stay if you are visiting bentota.

Initially they had no clue about the booking as there was a disconnect between their NH Bentota Ceysands Resort and makemytrip. However they did a lot to make it up. The rooms are spacious and huge. They have a lot of activities for kids and kept our daughter engaged through the day. Chef dileepa was brilliant and ensured we had a satisfying meal. Very good hosts. Their breakfast spread is also brilliant. Definitely my only choice when i go to bentota ever again!

The property and location are of 5-star category. Food is 4-star and the attitude of staff is 2.5-star. Especially the bar staff were rude and the services were poor. The staff at Thai restaurant were definitely much better. Overall good stay!
The pool was the highlight

Rooms were clean and nice, breakfast was okay, pool was excellent. Food wise the options are not too many in the NH Bentota Ceysands Resort so you will need to go around in the city and around it to explore places. Beach is walking from the NH Bentota Ceysands Resort

I loved my stay at this beautiful resort which is between Bentota river and sea. Hotel staff are nice and courteous. Food options are decent, breakfast has many, but for lunch and dinner vegetarian options are less, you can ask the chef to arrange for you. The spa services are bit overpriced for what they have to offer. I found it average. Otherwise a good stay with the money.

The location is pretty good and you get a personal beach feel at the property which is good. Overall the staff is courteous and rooms are decent.
They upgraded us to a family suite which was ocean facing.

The staff was very courteous and the property was awesome. Indian food is very limited in alacarte. You need to take buffet where there is a lot of options for vegetarians. Breakfast spread was very good. Better to take with all meals as there is nothing nearby. Once you are on the property you don't want to leave and go elsewhere.
