A Perfect Seaside Getaway at Le Grand Galle

We had an absolutely wonderful 3-night stay at Le Grand Galle. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless — the team graciously offered us a free early check-in, which really set the tone for the hospitality we experienced throughout. Our ocean-view room was stunning — spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with luxurious TOTO sanitary WCs that added a touch of modern comfort. Waking up to the view of the Galle Fort and the endless sea was a dream. The pool area is truly something else — peaceful, clean, and with breathtaking views. And the private beach access? Absolutely the highlight! It’s one of the most beautiful, serene beaches we’ve seen, and having it right at our doorstep was magical. The food at the Le Grand Galle deserves a special mention — every meal we had was packed with flavour and so thoughtfully prepared. We also loved how conveniently located the Le Grand Galle is — just a short walk to the Galle Fort, which made our evenings all the more special. All in all, this was one of the most memorable and relaxing stays we’ve had. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Galle!

We stayed at this property in galle for 2 days. The sea facing rooms were beautiful. Nice clean bathrooms and well kept rooms. We had breakfast and one major meal plan with our stay. Being a vegetarian the options were very very limited & on the next day of our stay without informing the Le Grand Galle canceled the dinner buffet due to low occupancy but they were adjusting in meeting our demands. Its just that it was a special day it was ruined because of all this mess. Only and only a miss was lack of vegan options.

Room was clean and decent with Jacuzzi , mini bar ( our reservation was upgraded ). That was not the highlight , It’s the view , Fort ! Jacuzzi ! Pool and serene blue ocean was visible . Chamod our host was very polite and on pold prefer to stay with le grand for my next visit as well . already i submitted a review

The location is breathtaking and every room has views of the ocean. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and incredibly clean. The staff is very helpful. The restaurant taste is still finding it's legs and needs improvement.
