At least spend 1-2 days if you want to enjoy the property. Nice and grand. Nice food spread, scenic view from rooms, hospitable staff.

Pros: beautiful property, beach view spacious rooms, courteous staff, great breakfast spread, turtle beach, activities/cultural shows cons: more than hour drive from mirissa and other touristy spots such as galle etc, no kids room/play area.

Hikka tranz has our heart! a stunning and probably the only property worth staying at in hikkaduwa! the staff is exceptional, the rooms are huge and good and the location. It's the absolute best! once you've had a day out in the pool, head to the beach and find turtles right at your feet. The water is clean and perfect for snorkeling and the vibe overall is to die for. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was out best stay in srilanka by far.

The property is located right on the coast and has a great view from the rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast and dinner offer a splendid variety. H however, the a la carte menu is quite limited and restricted to the room service menu. Vegetarians have very little choice in this.

Fabulous view and nice rooms with big balcony. You can spot turtles on the beach. Very nice staff and the chef k. Khan is great and very humble. Goes out of the way to satisfy the taste buds.

Right from the time we entered the hotel at 3 am in the night till the time we checked out one day later, our experience at hikka tranz was awesome! a big thanks to all the smiling and hospitable staff around. Rusiru, a hotel attendant and a very young boy was always around with his smiling face, the concierge in charge mr chintak who helped us arrange for a cab even before we reached srilanka and chef khan who was taking personal care of all guests and all other friendly staff in the property, made our stay perfect and truly memorable. The room, the ambience, the open areas every place was clean 24*7 and the food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) was full of variety and tasty. We had a perfect stay at hikka tranz with turtles around! highly recommended property

The place is as beautiful as in the photos. Hotel staff are excellently trained. Food is on par with the best out there. Check-in and checkout processes were smooth and quick. And the beach is just 💕

Amazing property, super clean swimming pool, very scenic private Beach, turtles at Beach was fun to watch and fishes for snorkeling. Ambience was awesome for drinks and dinner. Overall we enjoyed our stay at fullest.

Located in central Hikkaduwa, surrounded by a number of restaurants, pubs and supermarkets at walking distance. It has its own amazing Private Beach home to some large friendly turtles making it a great amusement specially with kids and families. The place also caters for the young at heart who want try adventures like scuba diving. The in house dive for you dive center is a PADI recognised 5 star dive center. It's a perfect place to get certified in all five courses or to just try a fun dive. It has a very supportive team managed By Mr. Darshana. Team consists of highly experienced PADI instructors like Chanu. We did our open water diving certification here and the dive for you team made it look so comfortable for us. All of this in one place and the best part is the extremely courteous and always helpful staff of the hotel. Wanna make a special mention about the always smiling Asanka who even though was a trainee at the front desk, but did manage his position better than many experienced staff from other hotels we have experienced all across the globe. In total, I will highly recommend Hikkatranz for families as well as singles. It has a little something for everyone. Keep it up.

Perfect property for the west Sri Lanka coast vacation

We stayed in Hikka Tranz for 3 days and had a great time. The hotel is exactly on the beach, which means that you can hit the ocean in less than a minute. Pool is great, clean and well maintained. We had a great time staying at Hikka Tranz. They don't have a lot of options for vegetarian food but whatever they have, suffices.
