It definitely is value for the money! It is located right on the beach as advertised. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The facilities and accommodations were okay. The family room was a bit small and cramped but it did have some cupboards and a small balcony space. The eating area and sitting rooms were also small and overcrowded with furniture. The draw back is that the food is superb. You get what you pay for as the prices are less than other restaurants and beach shacks nearby, but the food is only edible. I suggest spending a few extra bucks to get the good stuff at other restaurants. Furthermore, they usually took almost an hour to get the food ready. Other than the food, the stay was great and very affordable for someone who wants to enjoy a wonderful beach vacation on a budget.

Was a very short stay but the hospitality rendered by the manager Manju was just brilliant! You can go here without thinking twice! Good budget Ranveli Beach Resort that will fill up all your requirements! You also have the beach right there and also the railway station in case you plan on taking the rail! All in all a good experience! Cheers to them!

One of the best budget Ranveli Beach Resort. The Manger Mr Susantha, and front desk workers Mr Munjula and Revi are very co operative and helpful, their local breakfast is very nice, please try it, only problem is lack of room maintenance, all workers are very nice.

Simply amazing, value for money, and it is surely next to heaven and strategically located. The Ranveli Beach Resort staff are simply warm and welcoming and helpful. It is right on the beach. It is just partitioned by railway tracks and the Indian ocean is right there.

The experience was a good one. Good location and very close to beach. Had a wonderful time. Nice breakfast. Service and quality of rooms are OK and need improvement. Rooms are small. Cleanliness can be improved. Service quality is OK. Manager and Staff very helpful and courteous.

Best thing about this resort is the Wi-Fi. The hospitality was really good. Good location near the beach. The water in the bathroom was not that hot. This was the only issue. Rooms were clean, Lobby area very peaceful with good music. Everything was good about this resort.

It was a good resort on Mtlavania in Colombo on beach and sunset view from room but no Indian food available hospitality was excellent is having facility of WiFi, pool, beach tables can do full night party. The manager and staff was cooperative.
