Mount lavinia hotel is a throwback to olden times. The charm, the views, the food and the general demeanor of people - all were absolutely lovely. Enjoyed our 5 day stay there and would actually love to go back again.

A perfect getaway at mount lavinia hotel i recently had the pleasure of staying at mount lavinia hotel, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is stunning, blending historic charm with modern comforts. The food was exceptional, offering a wide variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. What truly set this stay apart was the beautiful pool and the private beach access, which were the icing on the cake. Whether i was lounging by the pool or taking a stroll on the beach, the serene ambiance made every moment special. I highly recommend mount lavinia hotel for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing and luxurious stay.

Hotel was really good. It has a heritage of about 200 years. Rooms are clean, food is good. They have a private beach which is maintained clean. However, hotel service is not up to the mark.

The moment we arrived the Hotel, I was overwhelmed by the size of the Hotel. We choose two ocean view room which was interconnected. The reception, the lobby, the room, the entire property was very spacious. The location was terrific, just on the edge over the ocean. The property itself is so beautiful that you need one day full to explore every bit of it. The night in Mount Lavinia was much interesting as they conduct parties by the pool, if you prefer to spend some time in solitary, then there is no one between you and the sound of the ocean waves. The food was also very lavish. There were numerous attractive items laid out in buffet. Overall it was magical!

Amazing location right on the Beach. Smooth and quick check in and check out. Very courteous staff. Food was delicious. Beach front restaurant serves fresh seafood made to order. Terrace restaurant is Sea facing. The Hotel is full of character. Will definitely visit again.

Had a wonderful stay and the hotel was great. However, it was my friend birthday and the hotel was providing a complimentary cake for everyone who had the birthday, however, when I asked for the same they said it can be arranged in the evening not now which was the only thing disappointing. Apart from that, it was a great stay.

Food is good. Swimming pool near the restaurant is fine. Private Beach is superb.
