The rooms are good and clean. The Pegasus Reef - A Beach Resort in Colombo is ideal for honeymoon couples. The beach nearby is serene and free from a crowd that enables you to admire the beauty of the mighty Indian ocean without any disturbance. You can take a walk in the morning along the beach towards a nearby viewpoint where you can find a lot of crabs crawling under the rocks and witness the ferocious waves coming right at you. The sight of sunset from the beach is simply mesmerizing. The swimming pool is well maintained and so is the gymnasium. The food is expensive at the Hotel and that is the only let down about the Pegasus Reef - A Beach Resort in Colombo. It is a bit far from Colombo, but mins away from the airport. There's a canal near the Pegasus Reef - A Beach Resort in Colombo where you can enjoy boat rides.

This is an old Pegasus Reef - A Beach Resort in Colombo, which has been upgraded. It is located outside Colombo and takes about half an hour to get to the city. The swimming pool is fine, but the beach is good for paddling, not safe for swimming. The rooms are standard size and clean. Breakfast was a great spread with many Sri Lankan delicacies. We liked the seafood restaurant for well-prepared seafood dishes.

My stay was wonderful but faced some challenges with food wherein they have a very limited menu for a la carte. They mention in their website that they serve Indian food but don't have enough Indian dishes to choose from. Rest of the stay was wonderful, nice location, away from City noise. Quiet and comfy place.

Hotel Pegasus Reef is located in a very peace area near Watala and having a sea shore in its back. Big area occupied with good rooms, swimming pool, 2 restaurants and very green area. Food variety and quality is highly appreciated. Service round the corner and staffs are very co-operative.
