This is a unique independent hotel within an 18th century town residence built for an aristocrat. Rooms vary in size from singles to suites, but each includes a hearty breakfast from a buffet. Apart from its discreet location close to major Stockholm sights and shopping, a major plus is the wonderful staff, including a very knowledgeable concierge and front office manager.

Wonderful hotel. Great location and staff that go above and beyond. Very happy. Super comfy bed. Great shower. Cosy and comfy. Wonderful breakfast. Gym great. All good. Perfect for me for half marathon Expo and start. Will stay here again. Highly recommend. Stockholm is an amazing city with so much to do. Swedes are real foodies and shopping is great. So many sights. Nordic Museum was fantastic. Walking round the little islands and visiting the lovely cafes is a great way to soak up the sites. Best breach this year!

The staff was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. When we first arrived the concierge made several dinner recommendations and then made all the reservations for us. The hotel had an old world feel despite being very up to date. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of options. We had to leave for the airport before breakfast and the front desk clerk gathered up some food and drinks for us. All in it was a wonderful stay.

Stunning hotel and room, so clean, comfortable. Very beautifully decorated. Amazing fresh variety for breakfast. Very warm helpful staff. Perfect pocation close to many things includeing kings park. So nice to have the use of sauna also. Would stay at this hotel again if visiting Stockholm

One of the prettiest hotels I’ve ever seen. Spectacular/posh neighborhood. Great staff. Very clean and all rooms are in excellent condition— which are the MOST important things to me. Only downside is the basic rooms are VERY small — like, so small that the shower door has to literally fold in half just so you can get out the bath (but frankly, I don’t care at all about room size and you can upgrade to a larger suite if you want—though, it’ll be pricey!)

I recently stayed for 5 nights. My room was excellent. Breakfast the best I've had in a hotel. Staff were great. The restaurant/bar/breakfast room is spectacular - five storeys high with balconies and a glass roof. within walking distance of the station and a short walk or tram ride to most of the major attractions and the boat trip booking office. I'd definitely stay there again.

Very nice staff and charming hotel. Only odd thing was my view was directly across from a table on the second floor of the bar and so people were looking right into the window so I keep the curtains closed. Next time I would ask for a higher floor or a room facing out.

An exquisite property in the heart of Stockholm; within walking distance from the central station, the shopping area, and the beautiful old town. The staff were professional and clearly love their jobs as you feel welcome straightaway. Breakfast was lovely and the bar was a delight to go back to in the evenings given how beautiful the room was. I'd definitely recommend without hesitation

Very good hotel choice in old town near palace and other landmarks. About half a mile walk from train station, so if you come to town by train or would like to take a day tour to other towns, this is also a good spot to consider.

I completely loved this hotel. It is so charming. The breakfast was the best out of all the hotels we stayed at throughout Scandinavia. The quality of the food was very good. Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel is walking distance to city center attractions. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel!

Only thing we did not like was that we had a room on the 7th floor, and it must have been near the attic/roof so there were two sloped ceilings quite low in the room and my wife and I hit our heads on it a half dozen times. Loved the restaurant, and Reception folks were outstanding and helped us a lot.
