Huge Swimming Pool and Plenty of Facilities

We had a great time at this Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach. They have a huge swimming pool with bar and because it is so spaced out it does not feel crowded. We spent a lot of time with the Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach facilities, kids area, table tennis, snooker etc. The Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach also has a small private beach. Location is 10 mins drive from Patong Beach. Be prepared to shell out exorbitant tuk fares to and from the Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach, if you have not pre cooked the Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach shuttle. Rooms were spacious with good amenities. The only drawback is that the corridors tiling and flooring is old and is no where near meeting Marriott standards. Mosquitoes also can be an issue for some in the evenings. Service was good, however, most restaurant staff do not understand English too well and finer points are lost in translation. On the whole we had a great time and would go back again just for the pool experience.

Stayed at Phuket Marriott Merlin Beach resort for 5 nights. Resort has two pools (one adult and one for everyone) which are both excellent. Our daughter (2. 5 yrs) loved the pool. Beach was awesome too with clear waters and strong waves. Dining options limited though and resort looks close to Patong but costs atleast 200 baht per visit to the closest town (if we use the Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach shuttle), or 600 baht round trip per visit. Airport taxis are the best as they use meters while other taxis or tuk tuks inside Phuket quote astronomical rates. In room dining options are limited, especially for vegetarians. However there is a 24 hr family mart just beside the resort for basic food and beverage options. Overall, resort is good if you aren't looking to beach hop or island hop but want to relax in the pool and sun and occasional visits to Patong and other attractions.

Had booked for initial 4 nights but moved out after 2 nights. Good Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach. Excellent staff service. Good access to private Beach and multiple pools. However breakfast for being a property is OK. Limited options. Other 5 stars have a lavish buffet for breakfast. Good place to chill if your a couple on a romantic getaway. Also during heavy rains the Road up-to the Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach gets flooded. You will Miss the hustle bustle of pa-tong. Hence I moved out after 2 nights
One of the finest property in whole Phuket

We went to Phuket with our 1-year-old baby, making Indian food for him was our biggest problem there, but they had an Indian chef Anil who took care of it so nicely and prepared each and every meal for my baby so timely hats off to him and his hospitality. He made our stay so comfortable couldn't forget that ever. This property is perfect for those who are traveling with toddlers. Thanks, Marriott and special thanks to indian chef Mr. Anil.

We loved the Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach so convenient very close to patong beach only 15 mins drive and taxi would be so easy to get but would recommend to take car on rent from airport. I would recommend this Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach to every traveler. The rooms were very good according to the price charged. The resort is very well maintained. It's good for kids as there is a play area and kids pool. There are 3 big pools. The breakfast is very will spread. Chef volunteered to provide us vegetarian Indian food. The only disappointment was that we could not enjoy the private beach as it's covered with corals and difficult to get in. The beach is very small. Its about 5 km from Patong beach, with limited travel options.

Very good selection of Indian food specially the paneer makhani was very good and if you requested to the shack, he can make anything in vegetarian. Sonova is the vegetarian food and the beach is the heaven in the high tide, you can snorkel in Turkish water to see coral reef and you can walk on the coral to see the different species and some other sea creatures.

The resort is amazing, beach facing. The restaurants at the Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach have delicious food, especially the thai and italian one. The kids club has activities to keep kids busy. The pool with the fountains and slides is beautifully made. The staff was helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make the stay comfortable

The Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach is located 3 kms from patong beach area. Away from all the hustle bustle. Very nice amd spacious rooms. We took the pool view room. The room was clean, amd tidy. The DOCG Italian restaurant is too good. Breakfast was also nice

Best is pool area and private beach area. Very beautiful. There was s wedding being hosted at this location, super awesome. The connected pools and pool bar are awesome to enjoy with family. Rooms are OK. Enough activities for kids

We stayed for 3 nights at the Merlin beach resort. The resort is excellent. Buffet breakfast is nice. It has 3 large pools. Spa is also very nice. Staff is courteous. Although it is a little far from Patong beach, but the resort provides complimentary shuttle service to the Patomg beach Overall a very nice Resort

The resort is very beautiful. One of the best water pools as it's the biggest resort water pools with pool bar and water sports and water slides for kids. Staffs are good and the rooms were big and had great pool view.

Excellent 5 star resort .. Stunning level of customer care .. Very child friendly .. Aun was very supportive and always smiling .. Location is a challenge as every trip to Patong will cost you 300 bhats .. The resort has a mostly free shuttle. However they should inform the guests of the timing at the time of check in

We got a room with balcony and the view from the room was awesome. They have got a nice private beach that is well maintained. There are a lot of outdoor activities one can do including a huge swimming pool. The staff were friendly and helpful . Surprised to know WiFi was separately chargeable considering the high room tarrifs.

Stayed for ) nights at this awesome resort , be is staff at reception to house keeping ir at any of the restaurant, all are always smiling and greet you, food quality was good just like any Marriott with variety, private beach was booster and proximity to patong beach and area 👍
