The Marmara Taksim

We were given rooms apart despite of our request at the time of booking Rooms too small . Not recommended not worth the price .

I had a disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. The internet was extremely slow and almost unusable. The room was dusty, and the air conditioning didn’t work, forcing me to open the window for ventilation, but the noise outside was unbearable. Dust inside the room was excessive, and there was no daily cleaning unless I went to the reception every day to request housekeeping. This lack of basic service and cleanliness made the stay very uncomfortable. Definitely not what I expected for the price. Would not recommend.

Not worth spending that much money. They don’t even provide sufficient water and asking extra cost for water bottle as well. Rooms are very compact.

Good place, centrally located, very small rooms, overall a pleasant stay, a bunch of indian restaurants very near by

Excellent location, bang on taksim square and 100 mtrs away from istiklal street. Good clean rooms, decent breakfast and courteous staff. Gets a little busy during the nights and especially on weekends but if you like being in the thick of things the location is perfect. Can get a bit noisy because of its proximity to taksim square.

The stay was good, but although the hotel did not provide cutlery in the room on being asked and they said that it is chargeable, this has never happened in any other hotel. We have been to otherwise the services were good.

Excellent location right at the taxi m sqaure. Very good service with a smile. Breakfast has good options though mostly continental. Rooms are clean and cozy. Metro and funicular are just across the street which makes it easy to go anywhere in istanbul.

The experience was very good. The hotel also provided us with a free upgrade

The marmara taksim is an excellent hotel. The location is just amazing, right at the taksim sqaure & istiklal street. Hotel staff is friendly, the food is great! the spa & ham-am facilities are just too good. Right outside the hotel there are plethora of options for sharwama & baklava. Nomads, an amazing party place is just a couple of mins walk from the hotel. It’s a 5/5 hotel!

Taksim is very unsafe for tourists, although the hotel was good but we were not able to go out much due to the locality as drunk people were roaming around the streets all the time.

As a tourist location is good. Overall excellent hotel. Can visit again.

It is located right in the heart of Istanbul. Taxim square is within walking distance. The breakfast spread was lavish. The service was excellent.

It's centrally located on Takshim square and can be rated as 4 star hotel. Better one makes reservation for club room to enjoy complimentary club lounge.
