Few amenities, but a good place for a peaceful staycation

Our room was upgraded when we informed the front desk staff that we are checking in to celebrate my birthday. We just wish the swimming pool was open for longer hours so we have more time to enjoy. Also, don’t expect that there is jacuzzi/hot tub even if it is mentioned in the list of their amenities because when we asked, we were informed that they don’t have it. Kinda sad since that is one of the reasons why we decided to book this Villaggio Hotel. Though the amenities offered fell short, this is still a good Villaggio Hotel for a peaceful staycation. We were also expecting the cake from the restaurant to be complimentary since we told them that it is my birthday, was a little bit sad that they didn’t, and we were also shocked when we were asked to pay for the 2 bottles of water that they gave us upon arrival at the restaurant because we thought it was free since we did not ask for it.

Starting from the reception i was impressed, all the staff behind the counter were very friendly, and had my quick check in. When i was aloted my room, it was very clean and a standard size room, i had booked room for 2 nights with breakfast. The house keeping and the room service was excellent. The only drawback was that, there was no much channels (only arabic) showen on tv, and my room did not have a nice view from the window. Aslo since my room was included with breakfast, they had very less variety of buffet and the hot beverage had very few options, the fruits cut were not fresh. Over all the stay was okay, i have given the Villaggio Hotel excellent review only because of the clean room and bathroom.

remarkable employees! had an issue with my booking (glitched and booked another date upon confirmation) and it was late night so my only hope was the duty manager, who was kind enough to assist promptly. also the front office agent Cherry was very considerate, we needed a non-smoking room as we had a toddler and since none was available, she upgraded us to junior suite which was non-smoking 🙏

The Villaggio Hotel rooms are clean and very tidy. It's very relaxing to stay and the staff is very kind and helful. There are many things you can do inside and outside of the Villaggio Hotel premises. I plan to go back and choose villagio Villaggio Hotel every time if i needed a room to stay at abu dhabi. Overall the Villaggio Hotel is magnificent.

I would like to rate my experience as average due to below. No mobile connectivity, as i was offered a basement room. Poor room lighting, no lights, tv not working etc. I have been stopped by security during my visit to room and asked for ids mid noon, forced me to wait over heat and later they checked with reception and confirmed and apologised.

Enjoyed my short stay at the villagio. It has an old world charm to it. The rooms are huge and the staff friendly. Location is also nice, close to the happening areas. Nice bar too. Would recommend it to people who would like an old world italian charm.

My stay at Villaggio Hotel villagio in abudhabi was excellent. It is a eventful place at reasonable price. Swimming pool and gym is excellent. All Villaggio Hotel staff is very humble, co-operative and helpful. Housekeeping is very good.
