Great hotel and location. room was comfy, well equipped and a good size. Staff super friendly. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. Very very impressed, also fab value for money. 10/10

The hotel was lovely, an older building but modern decor, very large comfy bed. Really lovely attentive staff. Breakfast was great, nice and fresh and good quality. 3 minute drive into matlock bath (20 min walk). TV decided to turn on by jtself around midnight which gave us a scare 😱. Skirting boards and bedside lamps were dusty (only noticed this as we had them on rather than the 'big light') but this is the only thing i have to say on the down side. Would definatley stay again.

The hotel was excellent and been sympathetically renovated to be in keeping with the victorian era. the only thing wrong was the heating system was very noisy and kept us awake

Room was big enough to have everything you need for a short stay arranged thoughtfully. The dinner and breakfast were beautifully cooked. The staff were friendly whilst being very efficient.

Had a lovely nights stay at the Oakhill. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Included a Sunday roast in the restaurant.

This was a gem of a property for us. It was squeaky clean. ( i am a tiddly bit Ocd) Ample of parking space. Excellent breakfast choices. Specially us bring vegetarians. The owner, Sharon, was amazingly friendly and helpful, and very warm. Made us feel very welcome and at home. Would recommend it to any one any time. Yhank you team Sharon !

We had an issue with our room which was beyond the control of the management, but they sorted it efficiently and in a pleasant manner and changed our room . Thank you would definitely stay again

Lovely place to stay, relaxing atmoshere. Loved our room (Arkwright) spacious, airy with unique period touches. Bathroom, a dream. Staff very pleasant and always there. Enjoyed our meals. Would like to return sometime.

Fantastic stay, place is beautiful, the room was marvellous, food was delicious and staff were all very friendly and helpful. One of the nicest places we have stayed in a long time. Oh and the gardens 😍

Smart, boutique hotel with well kept gardens, easy parking and only 5 mins walk from Cromford centre. Excellent room, bathroom with plush fittings and huge shower, perfectly cooked breakfast. We will be returning.

The staff are overwhelming in their attention to detail, kindness, and customer focus. They have been trained to put the guest first - exceptional ! A wide range of menu items is available in the main restaurant and the bar to suit every palate. Everything is cooked to order, and well presented - the chefs do a terrific job, and they made the meals a highlight of our 5 night stay

Brilliant location. Not too happy. Checked in after 4. Corridors still had bags of laundry everywhere. Tray of dirty cups outside our room. Lots of rooms still being serviced so late in the afternoon. Which I find rather disruptive. Driveway up to hotel in such a bad state of repair.
