My 3 hour journey took 8 hours, which made my arrival very late. I phoned on four occasions and was greeted with warmth and friendliness and told not to worry. Tracy was brilliant, she poured me a drink on arrival and offered me snacks. She then personally took me to my room and showed me around. She pre-ordered my breakfast ready for my early start. The place was spotless, the breakfast was amazing, the shower was warm and powerful - brilliant visit and I will definitely return.

We enjoyed a large double room at the top of the building. The hotel was clean and seemed relatively recently decorated throughout. Service was excellent and the evening meal menu had plenty of variety at reasonable prices; the steak and ale pie is highly recommended as are the cooked breakfasts.

Enjoyed spacious room 6 but a trek up to the commically small ensuite past a lovely view over the town. Nice pub to eat and drink in.

This was a great find. Lovely inn, warm welcome and a super comfy bed. Great amenities- WiFi, TV, desk, clean bathroom and nice linens. It was also quiet and restful at night. Evening meal and breakfast were both delicious ( and I’m a bit of a foodie) and service with a genuine smile. Thank you, I’ll be back.

Pleasant, nice restaurant/bar. Not suitable for older folk, flights of stairs, uneven floors in our room. Help with our luggage on leaving but not on arrival.

Quite village with good facilities. Our stay was brief, warm welcome and excellent breakfast. One thing we found the bed a bit soft but that is personal taste.

A great little b&b and the hotels.com details doesn't do it justice. I was initially dubious at what I would find as it was competitively priced but the Inn, the room and the breakfast were all really nice. Parking is an issue as there is no car park but on street parking was available in a well lit area.
