12 Monks Hostel Arambol Goa

Hard to beat location, the room was only a stroll from the water, couldn’t be closer. No communal kitchen but a cafe with fairly priced food for guests - plus the food was amazing. They’ll do community night dinners on occasion too. Staff were friendly and accomodating, gave good recommendations on what to do. Good backpacker/traveller vibe. The staff will org-anise group sunsets and outings. Hammocks and beanbags and sun chairs in communal areas for guests to hang out in. Even without leaving the hostel i could see fire dancers and performers on the beach, got the most amazing sunsets, ate yummy food, and chilled out. Extending my stay was no worries from the staff either

The hostel is just by the beach, making the best location one can stay in Arambol if one is a beach lover. The crowd mostly comprises of solo travellers with many foreign nationals from European countries. Few pointers for travellers staying in 12 Monks: please do not carry any expensive items as the hostel does not have a any locker facility, carry your own towel, there is a frequent electricity problem and they do not have any generators. Food is good with reasonable price. I found the vibe is also good and the people managing it are also friendly. They are prompt at fixing any concerns raised by the hostellers. Overall, I found it a good place to stay.

The hostel is on the beach with good access for all the things we needed in our daily routines. The food is really good with the price they are providing. Late night, there are people with whom you can have party and good communication.

It is a great place for solo traveller, with budget friendly and just opens up in front of beach gives great view. Food is also available which also has good taste. The main emphasis will be on location- its great.

Is anyone looking for a budget friendly hostel in arambol beach area, i would highly recommend this place. I especially like their food which is reasonably priced and tasty. Overall, i am very happy staying here.

Clean, nice ac room. Yard good for socialising, on the beach. Good food in kitchen, friendly staff.
