A2B Residency Ooty

Very neat and tidy room and excellent service with a top class vegetarian restaurant . Complete accommodation package that too at the center of Ooty town. Budget friendly.

I booked a two-night stay at A2B Residency because I have a four-year-old child who eats only South Indian food and loves A2B meals. The hotel’s central location was another plus, as it allowed me to avoid parking hassles and easily walk or take an auto to most of the main sightseeing spots. The reception area, however, was disappointing — poorly maintained and below average. The check-in process took more than 20 minutes, during which the staff appeared lethargic and inattentive. To make matters worse, there were a few middle-aged guests checking in for what seemed like a party trip, making the waiting area noisy. Standing there with my wife and two kids after a long journey was quite tiring. The room itself and the housekeeping staff were decent. However, basic amenities like toiletries and towels were not pre-stocked — we had to call and request them. We also faced an issue with breakfast. Although I had booked complimentary breakfast for four, the attendant initially insisted it was valid only for three. I raised this with MakeMyTrip, who quickly intervened and contacted the hotel. The manager then apologized and resolved the issue immediately. After that, the staff became very courteous and attentive. They even waived charges for coffee and an extra bed, which I truly appreciated. Overall, I would say I was satisfied with my stay. However, I wouldn’t recommend this property for families, as it tends to get noisy late at night with bachelors wandering around. That said, the food was excellent, and the staff service improved significantly after escalation.

Our stay at A2B was truly delightful. The rooms are beautifully maintained, and the staff is courteous and always ready to help. The food, as expected, is top-notch — no wonder the restaurant attracts such a crowd! Located in a prime area, it’s a perfect choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

Property is Located in main location , easily accessible to all restaurant. Medical shop and shopping. Property restaurant is too crowded always, and room service will based on service availability. Room is so nice and comfort and will get 24 hours warm water. Next to Property auto stand is available.

The location of the property is right in the centre which makes it a good option for those who want to explore Ooty on foot. It has A2B restaurant right downstairs which has amazing food. The room itself is a bit compact, but decent enough for the night as you would mostly spend your day out exploring Ooty!

property is located in prime location with clean rooms ; however the reception person shows his attitude and we had a worst experience with him.

Extremely happy. Me and my family stayed in we arrived earlier than check in time with small kid the staff understands our problem helped us. Provided great service and arranged the room early.

Stayed in gold room. The receptionist did the great job. Took little time to get the room since the checkout time is 12pm. Served us coffee for our waiting. Room was spacious with a small balcony. Table fan was provided in the room which I have not seen anywhere. No hot water after 10pm and available from early morning. Booked using MMT so didnt get breakfast. But restaurant available a floor below. Excellent service. They gave a 5liter RO water in a bottle as free. You can get a 5 liter bottle for charge basis also.

I had a fantastic experience during my stay at A2B residency, ooty The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect. The receptionist Mr.Ruban Kingsley, was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and professional. He made check-in smooth and his warm attitude truly made me feel at home. Highly recommend this hotel and I’ll definitely stay here again!

I had taken lowest category room which was extreme small so upgraded to gold room by giving extra cash. location is amazing food is amazing. everything is nearby. According to tarrif it's perfect.

Restaurant is not tidy. It's too clumsy. Stay is okay but not that great. It's not worth the money. We booked room for 1 day planning to check in in the morning and leave by 12:00. Planned to stay for almost 4 hours. But the person in reception charge extra 500 rupees because we vacated room late by around 01:00. They have switched off power at 12:00 as well. There are so many good stay around A2B. A2B is over priced ..

Rooms were not so good, in room service bills are not charged to room bill instead had to pay directly in room, not so great experience
