Aaramgah | The Alpine Farmstay with Kitchen

Aramgah as the name suggests is a beautiful place to unwind, relax and rejuvenate. The location as well as room view are excellent. Nestled in a Apple orchard the rooms offer breathtaking views of a valley and snow capped mountain ranges. The rooms are tastefully decorated and provide for all creature comforts. Getting up in the morning to a stunning view and the sound of birds made my day. The Mehta family who own the property and stay a shouting distance away are warm and absolutely lovely and make the stay even more pleasant. Kanchi the cook serves up awesome food and the entire staff are helpful and always smiling. All in all definitely worth a stay. The farm stay is easy to find and reach, there are interesting places a drive away like Hatu peak, sutlej etc. There is no television in the room which is a plus. Plenty of options for a walk in the trees etc. They are in the process of building a family room with a television, books etc.

I spent 5 days in Aaramgah with my family and I do not regret a single minute. The facility is located in the middle of an apple orchard with pine forests all around. The rooms have stunning views of the valley and snowclad mountain peaks in the distance. Food and service was par excellence. The best part was that the owners- Mr Piyush Mehta and his wife, Dr. Himani- were extremely friendly, hospitable, helpful and down-to-earth. They are more like friends than owners, and they run the place like a home rather than a commercial establishment. There was a personal touch there is missing from all other places. Thankfully, there is no television in the rooms! That allowed my children to spend time with nature and to interact meaningfully with all the other inmates of Aaramgah. I highly recommend this place to any family or couple looking for a quiet picturesque place to stay in Narkanda district.

Superb location with spectacular mountain and view, full of peace and nothing else. Rooms are clean with very comfortable bed. Bath is spotlessly clean. The host Piyush treated us like friends and left no stone unturned to make us feel at home and comfortable. Helped us in every step starting from finding his place to guiding us where to go, what to eat, etc. No words to thank him. Behaviour of staff was polite. Food is good too. Thank you for the barbecue and bonfire! Overall had an amazing and memorable stay. Strongly recommend. We will come soon when the flowers in the orchard start blooming.😊

We reached this place around 10:30 pm after a harrowing drive from sundarnagar. Thankfully, the host, piyush, was in constant touch right throughout our back breaking journey. He even offered to shift the reservation to the next day in case we felt like staying over at karsog. The moment we checked in, our weariness melted. Aaramgarh really lived up to its name with a wonderfully appointed room and a nice, soft bed to sink in. Food was also excellent and the kitchen was kept open to ensure we received hot food once we reached. Can't thank piyush enough for his help. Will be sure to return.

The property location is in a different world of its own. Approach road slightly tricky but once you are inside it's worth it. The owner is super polite and goes the extra way to make you comfortable. Stayed here just for one day and unfortunately there was no electricity due to an outage. Such things happen at times in the mountains but the owner without telling us didn't charge us for breakfast lunch and dinner just to make it up. The rooms have a superb view and the food was homely and lovely.

If you want a peaceful stay away from chaos of any city, this is the place to stay. The room tariff was high, however the experience was unique. Room and washroom are very clean and hospitality is amazing too. If you're driving there, last 400m are on a hilly walk-way, where it might become tricky for you. I went there with my wife and daughter, and we would really recommend this place to everyone.

I really loved the place. It's a huge apple orchard with an amazing view of the Himalayan Range. The best part was Piyush’s hospitality, you will feel like living in a friend's place rather than a Aaramgah | The Alpine Farmstay with Kitchen he is the most amazing host I have ever seen, also The home-cooked food is amazing. Really loved the whole experience.

We stayed at Aaramgarh for 2 days. It was an awesome experience. The owner Mr. Piyush takes personal care of guests and ensures utmost hospitality. The stay was beyond our expectations. The food was delicious. Overall, I highly recommend anyone planning to stay near Narkanda for this place. 4-5 star homely experience.

We had a family of old and young travelling together and everyone enjoyed The stay! It was peaceful with The perfect view of The sunset.
