Aarshu | Rooms in a Homestay

Aarshu's homestay is an excellent stay option in darjeeling. It is just 5-mins walking distance from mall road. Despite being so close to the hub of darjeeling, it is still very peaceful and quiet with no disturbance. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and come with amazing views. They even provide extra blankets if needed and bed-warmers (at a minimal extra price. The host pritam and his family are lovely people. They are always willing to help and give a lot of information and guidance. They even assist with finding taxis or give recommendations for places to visit. The food is also delicious. I had breakfast daily and they served a good variety. They even customised as per my needs. The cuisine is local but basic and simple yet delicious fare. The most important thing - as a solo female traveler, i felt safe at all times. Infact, pritam would even call me in the evenings if i got late to check if everything is alright. They took care of me like a family member. Kudos to both pritam and his sister nisha for such wonderful hospitality. Overall, an amazing family and a great homestay experience! 5/5 stars for everything.

The property is very well maintained with very friendly and helpful hosts. They maintained very good hygiene and sanitation. Food offered was home cooked and very very tasty. View is very good though not facing kanchenjungha, but can see the entire darjeeling valley. Very near to mall and restaurants. Rooms are very cosy, bathroom is clean. They offered me an extra room at low cost since we were having some problems with our luggages. So very considerate host. I would really recommend this home stay for anyone planning to spend a few peaceful days while staying very near to the main darjeeling activity areas. If there is any slight drawback i might point to the access where it might be a little challenge to bring in car all the way to the Aarshu | Rooms in a Homestay main entrance which could be a problem if one has a lot of luggages or if there are elderly persons. Otherwise excellent stay

The owner of the arshu home stay, pritamji is very polite, well behaved and considerate person. Also his family members are helpful and cooperative. The hospitality towards us is commendable. The home made food served to us by them is very delicious and tasty. Hot and cold water, both are available. The location is peaceful and a kind serenity prevails the entire locality. Walkable distance from darjeeling chaurasta and mall market is very nearby. The scenic view of mountain from the balcony is magnificent. They always tried to serve the break fast, lunch & dinner in time. Room and bathroom are neat and clean. We really enjoyed the stay in aarshu homestay during our tour. So i strongly recommend other tourists to stay in this home stay during the tour in darjeeling. Hope we will go again.

This was my first homestay experience, i stayed with my friend for 2 nights. Aarshu homestay is a hidden gem and the price is really reasonable. The room provided to us had beautiful view of the mountains. Room was clean and comfortable and had a small balcony. The homestay is at a walkable distance from mall market. The host can also help in arranging taxi if needed. We were served with tasty parathas for breakfast and the host kindly arranged soupy noodles for us for dinner. If you want to have dinner in homestay then make sure you let them know early in the evening. They provided extra blanket to us and also gave us bed warmer without any extra price. Most importantly, as two female travellers we felt really safe here. Overall highly recommended place for stay.

The property is 2-3 minutes downhill to mall road at an extremely quite place, after the long tiring day, you will definitely feel you reached home. The rooms are very beautiful and very clean. Really the bathrooms were very clean and very hygenic. The best property has 3 rooms. Out of which 2 of them has hill view with balcony. Trust me you will love sitting in the balcony with the splendid natural beauty drinking tea and having amazing breakfast. Last but not the least, our experience became soo good because of our host pritam and his sister who are soo good person, always making sure that we get everything that we need.

One of the best homestays (in my opinion best) near the mall road, Darjeeling. Host Pritam Mukhiya and his family were very helpful, polite and courteous. Me and my family enjoyed so much that they wanted to visit again. Among the three rooms two are balcony faced with very nice mountain view. Bathrooms were clean and geysers were there in all three rooms. Homemade foods were very light and tasty at a reasonable price. Everyone enjoyed the stay at Arshu. Thanks 🙏

we had booked room for 8 nights and it was wonderful stay there. the view from balcony was amazing and unforgettable. the owner was very nice person and supportive too. it was best deal with such afforable price including breakfast. the breakfast provided was also very tasty and can’t forget those chhole bhature 😋😋. i recommend that if anyone want affordable stay at darjeeling near mall road then arshu home stay is best option. thanks

The host mr. Pritam was very cordial and friendly. The room was cozy and had a nice little balcony with a decent view of the valley. The homestay was just a mere 5 minutes walk from the chowrasta mall road. If you want a place away from the hustle bustle of the mall and afforable budget rooms. This is your place. Our 4 night stay was truly peaceful and provided us the relaxing ambience we earnestly craved for. Highly recommended.

A nice home stay with a beautiful location which is just a five minute walking distance from mall road area darjeeling. Care taker pritam ji is a nice and helpful person. Stayed 2 nights with comfortable.

Location is good and it near by mall road. Food was simple and less oils but it was good. Overall property owners was very cooperative and humble. Early in the morning he is taking a pain for me and arranged the taxi for dropping new jalpaiguri station. No body can take the pain. He provide breakfast 6:30 in the morning that was showing he is gentle and kind.

Good Place to stay in Darjeeling. Near from Mall. Owner Mr. Pritam is very co-operative and helpful. Must recommend. Homely atmosphere.
