Abad Brookside

Booked ABAD in Lakkidi as we were impressed with our ABAD turtle beach Marari stay. And we were not disappointed !! The resort is around 15 min from the highway, pick up was arranged for us early in the morning too .Our travel to the resort itself was like an off road experience such is the location amidst the forest area. Top notch hospitality both at front desk and at the restaurant. we had very pleasant comfortable stay. Taxi for sightseeing with recommendations was done at the front desk . Mr.Jitesh and Mr. Roy both were very helpful all through out our three days stay. The staff at the restaurant were very cooperative. They had yummy veg options . Both breakfast and dinner buffet spread were excellent. Our eight year daughter enjoyed in the pool overlooking the brook and forest area. We stayed in Garden facing cottage, beautiful view from the balcony. Good for a relaxing cup of tea . The whole property is has a brook / small stream on one side .Stroll by the brookside was rejuvenating. Children play area , Basket ball court badminton court andvolley ball court needs bit more of maintenance . Indoor game area has variety of games. Everyday they arrange camp fire which is really cool.. ! The garden is very well maintained with amazing flowering plants - treat to the eyes. The rooms and bathrooms are kept clean and tidy. On the whole one can forget the hustle bustle of the city and just relax and float in a dreamy world in this lush green brookside property. Had a great stay . Everything was top notch . Outdoor Play area needs improvement. Food was good. Staff very courteous. Rooms spacious and clean

Our stay at Abad Brookside Resort was a blend of relaxation and adventure. Nestled in the lush greenery, the resort offers a serene escape from the chaos of city life. The ambiance, surrounded by natural beauty, was truly rejuvenating, and the staff were incredibly hospitable, ensuring our stay was comfortable. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and offered stunning views of the surrounding hills and forests. The food served at the resort was delightful, with a good mix of local and international cuisines. However, there were two aspects that could have been better. First, the swimming pool, though beautifully located amidst nature, had very cold water, which made it difficult to enjoy fully, especially in the evenings. A temperature-controlled option would have enhanced the experience significantly. Second, the approach road to the resort from the main road, about 2.5 km long, is completely off-road. It’s a bumpy ride, and we’d strongly recommend coming in an MUV or SUV for better comfort and ease of travel. Sedans and smaller vehicles might struggle, especially during rainy seasons. Overall, Abad Brookside Resort is a perfect getaway for nature lovers, offering a tranquil environment, great service, and a memorable stay, provided you’re prepared for a bit of adventure on the way!

The place is very calm and peaceful. Perfect for a family vacation and also a great spot for bachelor and backpackers. The pool is a highlight, however it could have been better if it would have been temperature controlled, so that even kids could enjoy it. The restaurant offers buffet for dinner and also la cart e menu and offers very delicious and fresh food. There is a creek by the side of it and offers great place to spend time with family and friends. There are many indoor and outdoor games like badminton, kids play area, volleyball, table tennis, and many board games. Definitely enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this place to all.

Great location, Nice Breakfast and Courteous staffs. The rooms are spacious and clean. Fortunately, the climate was nice during our stay. As a group of four Bachelor's it was a great experience. Recommendable for families too A few flaws I felt is the unavailability of AC rooms and the small pool. The weather can play a crucial role. We also ordered a few foods to our room, the malai Tikka was delicious. I would recommend trying it.

We booked this beautiful resort for 3 days and it was nothing short of extraordinary. The premises and the amenities were top class. Would like to make a special mention to the food .We tried almost all the food that was there on the menu and it was superb to say th least. special mention to the Beef steak, caramel custard, chicken steak . overall an awesome experience. would like to come again

nice stay, good food, very polite staff. last 2 km before we reach the resort is a little bit off road. but abad provides transport at the starting of the road. so there are no issues with that.

Very nice property situated near jungle and tea garden....Food was average considering premium price...I would prefer people to eat at Walton just 2 km from Abad Brookside....service and good and supportive staff

Had a fantastic stay at Abad Brookside—a perfect retreat into the serenity of the woods. The well-maintained property, excellent service, and warm hospitality made it truly special. The food was great, and a special thanks to James at the restaurant for his exceptional service. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway and great value for money!

The stay was delightful, with a wonderful ambiance. The hospitality was exceptional, and it's a perfect place to connect with nature.

The stay was good. The hospitality of staff and everyone around was very warm and welcoming. However, the use of detergent for washroom was a little too strong day after smell caused us some nose irritation throughout the stay. The buffet food was good. However, they could increase the number of dishes served, especially for non-vegetarians

If you want to stay with nature then it's the property, you will love to stay and try to get 203-204 room as it has the best view, staff are very polite and ready to help, room service is the best part of the deal and food is delicious and economical
