Abad Green Forest

Abad green forest resort is an excellent property. We were 7 members (including 2 senior citizens. The Abad Green Forest staff took care of all our individual request and ensured a pleasant stay. Special mention of the manager mr sijith, who led from the front. He is present at all times and provides individual attention to every guest - be it through some travel suggestions or helping to fix any issue. We had issue with the air conditioner in one room and were immediately provided another one (when initial rectification effort did not work. The entire staff, including the restaurant and reception members, are very proactive. Food in the restaurant has good variety and is very well prepared. The buffet breakfast spread can compete with many 5 star property options. On the overall, a very pleasant stay.

The property is located at the centre of town, convenient to visit all the tourist places, near by the market area for shopping, and good number of restaurants nearby. Ambience and hospitality were above expectations. Food quality and quantity were top notch. We tried chinese dishes for a dinner, and they tasted real good. Breakfast spread was good and filling as well. Rooms are well maintained, neat, with all amenities and consumables. We stayed in jungle cottage, which had a spacious balcony to relax. Kids play area and indoor games like table tennis, carrom, and chess were also available and maintained well. Suitable for family and groups. Will definitely stay here again in my next visits!

Rooms were clean and maintained well. Less space for kids play area, swimming pool was really nice and maintained well. Overall the ambience was great. Good for a short or one day stay. Additional requests like complementary birthday cake was not received well and it was arranged. Around 2. 30 am i got a very hard door stabbing noice, i haven't opened the door. The next day when i reported on this it was not properly responded by verifying cctv. They just tried convincing me by explaining about monkey's. Management should take care of this. Overall i would say the ambience and stay was slight to above average, i didn't noticed anything as a wow factor except swimming pool.

Install a fast ev charging unit or allow 16 ams slow charging multiple units. In kumily there is no ev charging stations. At our stay thee is no activities in resort. It was a sunny day day but no camp fire at night. Lack of hand rails at our stair case. Intercom not working. It should be informed at the check in time. We got a check in time at 2 pm. It should be 12 noon we have ordered a birthday cake one day before they said no information. So we purchased from outside. You can start a fresh spice, tea sales counter inside resort.

Surroundings for nature lovers. View from balcony is resort pool. Resort itself has dense tree cover. Great pool okaish breakfast foreign people and non gujaratis prefer this resort. I see no gujaratis here except us. May be b cos its three star. Staff is good but not as attentive as five star room is average size. Mine is deluxe room. Resort is in city centre. Spice market very nearby. Walking distance. Hote restaurant is good

Loved the location, so central yet close to the point from where tiger reserve's bus shuttle starts. The place is well maintained considering its about 15 years old property. Hospitality upto the mark. One needs to be a bit careful with monkeys roaming around inside the resort. Found good vegetarian food options at peppermint - their restaurant. Pool could've been maintained cleaner.

Excellent maintenance of their garden. So many trees are there. Room is also nice. Had comfortable and nice stay. They have in-house restaurant as well which is good. Breakfast was very good. Loved the staff behaviour too. Pool was nice. Note- balcony was not fully usable as there will be monkeys here and there due to national park area nearby. :p keep balcony door always closed.

It's a wonderful natural stay with excellent facilities. Family friendly environment without any disturbance from anyone, even if it's at the centre of town. Pleasant behaviour from the staff and especially the restaurant people, very much adjustive to our small child's behaviour and her likes and dislikes. Complete satisfaction from the pool experience.

Beautiful huge property. We stayed in jungle room which was big clean n spacious, the best point is it’s just 5mins walk from periyar reserve all the local market n food joint are around here

It was a great stay. All amenities were good. We have a enjoyed a lot. We went as a couple for te first time and it made as a memorable trip.

Location of the property was in the middle of everything. Enjoyed the ambiance and cuisine. Rooms could have been kept little neat and tidy. We noticed urine smell in the room. The chrome plated bathroom fittings were having scales. Shower heads needs replacement.

Bang in the middle of thekaddy, close to all the major spots. Hotel is decent, staff and service are great. Although there is a garden in the middle of the Abad Green Forest which results into some mosquitos. Food was good.

We liked the breakfast which has lot of varieties and breakfast was buffet system, swimming pool facility,

Clean stay. But the amenities provided needs updation. Eg. Even though bed and towels are good, doesn't meet the luxury experience we expect.

Good location and beautiful property with plants like cardamom, black pepper and coffee in the garden. The staffs are polite and prompt service. I did not like the food here. Room was spacious with all basic amenities.

We six people got a comfortable and luxurious stay at abad green forest thekkady in the month of april 2023. Overall ambience of the property is excellent.

The room was neat and clean. The food was average. Staff was helpful. The property was green. Overall had a good stay.
