Abad Green Forest

I had a pleasent stay. If you are looking just for an accomodation, this is a nice place. Room was neat and clean, with a spacious balcony. Staff were very helpful and polite. Though the resort is in the middle of Kumily town, you won't feel it once you enter the resort. You will feel like you are somewhere near the forest. It has a nice forest like ambience. If you are from Kerala, you will feel more like staying at your home. But if you are born and bought up in a city, you will like it. But if you are looking to spend some time in the resort, this is not a place for you. The resort doesn't have any amenities apart from a swimming pool. I would recommend it only for people looking for a place to sleep and plans to spend rest of their time outside.

The resort is centrally located with all amenities and touristy places at a walking distance. Places such as the arts show, market, elephant camp, periyar boating, etc. are all at walking distance. The resort look and feel is also amazing! It's very well maintained. I would definitely recommend this resort. The only thing I found a bit disappointing was the food. It wasn't up to the mark.

the location is good, i mean easy access from the town. the boat safari ticket counter is close to the location. the only issue with jungle view rooms is that there are almost 11 rooms on the floor, much like a lodge than Abad Green Forest rooms 😀. anyway , the staff are very courteous and helpful. food was also decent. overall, it can be given a rating of 4 out for five

The location was excellent and rooms were near and clean. Located in city centre. Breakfast was good but options can be increased. Dinner buffet has limited items for 850 the spread is minimum. . Resort management should consider increasing the items. Other than this everything was excellent. 10/10 ratings

Good resort and excellent location. All tourist attractions are at walking distance and although the resort is on main road, the rooms are away tucked into greenery so it always remain tranquil. Neatly maintained property. Can work a bit on Breakfast options.

The overall experience was good the Abad Green Forest is very close to the market and accessible to all the spots. The rooms are clean and good though initially i was not satisfied with the room but then they changed it, breakfast spreads very good

This place has its own beauty. Beautiful, neat and clean place to stay. Staff is very helpful and cooperative. Located near all the tourist places of thekkady.
