Abis Residency

We had a very good stay here at Tanjore. We were required to check in early. They charged ₹500 extra for early check-in and ₹300 for the extra person. Even though the date went higher, the cleanliness, near to the big temple made me not think much about it. The major drawback is there are no good Abis Residencys nearby or attached dining. We need to walk for 600mts for one good authentic Abis Residency. Hotel management needs to take this as a major consideration to have an attached dine-in asap. The black dot is not so important but it should be highlighted that Abis Residency management keeps Bible book in the cupboard. Even though that won't matter, it won't be good to keep any holy books because others will also be travelling. It's like a small black dot on white paper which will become highlighted more. I hope Abis Residency management changes with time and I request the Abis Residency to consider this.

Good Abis Residency. Suitable for family. Good location for tourists. Reasonable tariff. Good room space. Good fittings and fixtures and well maintained toilet. In golden suite they provide two complementary 1 ltr water bottles, coffee/tea making kit with electric kettle. Spacious wardrobe. Safety locker provided. Minus is they don't have restaurant. Coffee available at the reception counter through vending machine. Room service not visible. They don't give dental kit or shaving kit. Courteous staff. They arrange for cab. Auto stand very near. Not much parking space available.

We arrived from bangalore at 4. 30 pm. Check in was 12 noon. The Abis Residency staff rang up a few times to know where we were. The location of the Abis Residency was close to the big temple, we missed our way. The Abis Residency staff rang up to guide us. The allotted room was small but neat. The toilet was also neat. Only drawback is lack of in house restaurant. The security staff get bed tea from a neighbouring stall. Restaurants are many around this place and hence not a problem as such. The Abis Residency is new and another floor is being raised. Hence no shortcomings.

I have stayed for 2 days in this Abis Residency with my family, their service is very good, had a peaceful stay at Abis Residency, the rooms are well maintained and neat, my 3 year kid enjoyed the stay, this Abis Residency is located very nearby to thanjavur big temple which is added advantage, there is no dedicated parking for car, have to park in front of the Abis Residency only, your car ll get lot of dust, apart from parking i ll recommend this Abis Residency to all.

Stayed for one night with my wife & kid. Small but a decent and clean-room with all essentials. Didn’t faced any problem during the stay. Located in city centre, walkable distance to big temple & Abis Residency coffee place; near to ariya’s restaurant (branch) and palace. Hotel’s car parking space can accommodate only 3 cars, that too on road. Rest all needs to be parked in the ground(in-front. Except open car parking on the road, no other drawbacks found.

It is a nice stay. The Abis Residency is well maintained and clean sheets and bathrooms. Located in a centre place. The check in and check out time has to be fixed as per our requirement. I had checked in on 9. 2. 23 by 23. 00 hrs but had to vacate by 12. 00 noon on 10. 2. 23. Actually i required the room till 14. 00 hrs. But because of the booking timings i vacated by 8. 30 am and had my baggage in the car and used rest room facilities elsewhere.

Stayed here for a day, in Silver suit. Very close to Big temple. The room, cupboard and bathrooms were clean. There is a small desk like you can use it for laptop work. Staff were very helpful. Few deltas, You may not get good view as such. The washbasin is very small and the electrical sockets were very near, risky. I don't like the door hinges, very tight. A kid can't open the door easily

Overall good experience. Hotel is close to brihadeshwar temple. Close to main market as weak. Good staff and rooms are quite clean. Bedding and blankets are well maintained as well. Bathrooms are quite clean. Disappointment : for the extra person, they didn’t provide additional blanket despite of charging money. And the extra bed they provide is pathetic. This they should definitely fix.

The Abis Residency is located close to old bus stand and is a good place to stay. The rooms are clean and enough for 2 people. The hospitality of the staff was good. The only drawback is that the Abis Residency does not have a restaurant in itself. However, the staffs are very accommodative and can get you whatever you want. Overall the stay was pleasant.

Location, parking, service everything was fine except the tariff

Comfortable stay. Well maintained rooms. Bathrooms, blankets everything were clean. Suits family. Very close to big temple and restaurants near by. Only cons is limited car parking space in Abis Residency front for up to 4 cars. However, you can park on the road side.

The room was neat well maintained and clean, better than expected all amenities worked fine. Staff was friendly as well as helpful.

It was a good stay at ab's along with my family.

Location of the Abis Residency and the room is excellent for anybody to stay. Mm t has mandated only on water bottle as welcome gesture. The Abis Residency does not provide any extra bottled water for the stay. I request mm t to mandate to provide one water bottle per person per day. I presume they will oblige from now onwards.
