After the Rains - Rainforest Lodge

The resort is good with great views of mountains from all the sides and is located on a proper hillside and bit feels like forest stay. But you will come across many insects and reptiles. Since the rooms are located a bit faraway outside the lobby reception, you may see many leeches and few snakes as well. You will have to be extremely careful while walking in and around the resort. The water in the swimming pool was not clean and we could see few insects inside the water as well. The food was just average nothing too special. Overall a decent resort. The management needs to do something on too many insects and other reptiles in and around the resort.

Excellent stay in meppadi wayanad with warm staff and cool scenic jungle views. The food is very good with a wide choice of variety local cuisines. They also have some activities in the resort which are fun. Overall we had a nice stay and mr. Rakesh, arjun snd co. Were very helpful in guiding us through our entire stay. Our only discomfort happened once we left the resort in the cab booked through the resort, mr. Riyas. Took us to places which were already closed and had tie ups with costly shops where he took us for visit. My suggestion is do not book that cab service. The driver is only bring the reputation of the resort down.

We checked for nice resorts at waynad in make my trip. We booked it prior of 2 months. We waited for the day and when we reached over there the resort is veryyyy good and lovely place for a get away from the city exhausting life. The nature. And the amenities are excellent. We booked pimienta room and the view from the room is next level eye feast. The view from the bathtub will take us into trans. And also the staff were very friendly. The food served was very good with authentic kerala dine. They provided very good service overall. Overall excellent stay and we are also planning another visit in winter

View from the lobby is outstanding. But the rooms are scattered that it seems like trekking from lobby to the room. Difficult for carrying infants along. View from the rooms was ok. Property manager n staff are very polite and hospitable. It was our baby's 3rd month bday for which we had requested a cake which was very yummy. Fish curry n rice was very nice in the dinner. Breakfast options are limited for non-vegetarians. Overall experience was good.

The stay was pleasant. Pros: the view from our room and the entire property is lush green. The food was made of local grown ingredients. Extremely courteous, well trained and helpful staff cons: bugs, there are a lot of bugs, and even reptiles crawling around in the area. Our rooms in lilikoi were about 200m away from the dining area and since all meals are served in the dining area. One has to walk long to and fro.

Nestled in the heart of the nature, our forest stay@after the rains was a dream come true. We stayed at lilikoi. View from the balcony was just awesome. Manager mr rakesh welcomed us with a welcome drink and explained about the property. Property’s location, food & services is no doubt very good. Need to maintain fish pond area thanks to manager & staff to made our stay beautiful

We stayed at honeymoon villa lillikoi. This place has a serene atmosphere in midst of hills. View from balcony is mesmerizing. Food was good. North indian dishes can be improved. Great service by manager rakesh and team.

Never miss this property. Atleast visit once, very well maintained and friendly staff. 5/5. View from the property is beautiful. Loved it.

The location was overall great, i loved the silence which let me to live in the fresh forest ambience. The food option was limited but the taste was good. Overall it’s a great experience to disconnect from the city and live surrounded by nature.

Kudos to the entire team, awesome cuisine, rakesh, arjun and vishnu made us feel at home stayed with family for five days. Serene and calm atmosphere. Just lost in nature.

Lovely experience, memorable stay. Overall good. Can get better. Place needs some renovation and needs overall enhancement as the location is superb, staff were good. This place has a potential to be a super boutique resort.
