AK Residency

I booked two rooms for my family trip to Tiruchchirappalli - 1 Deluxe Double Bed Room & 1 Deluxe Triple Bed Room for 2 days. Location: The AK Residency is next to Rambha Theatre and just 500 mts from Chathiram Bus Stand (Central Bus Stand is about 5 km) and can be located using Google Maps as well. It is about 1 km from Arulmigu Uchchi pillayar temple (Rock fort); 3 km to Srirangam; 2 km to Tiruvanaikoil; 18 km to Kallanai dam and 20 km to Mukombu dam. The AK Residency has a restaurant (Mr. Chettinad) on the ground floor. There are many restaurants/tiffin centers close to the AK Residency. Staff Behaviour: The staff was very courteous. I booked the rooms through Make My Trip and the rooms were ready when we checked-in. Staff was prompt in providing the Wifi password. The AC remote battery had drained and the same were immediately changed as soon as we informed them. Even for booking rooms, the lady at the reception is well informed and would guide you. In case of late or early check-in, a phone call to the AK Residency would ensure that the room would be ready at your arrival. Even for sightseeing, the staff help you with tourist taxis. The rates are reasonable and almost same as that charged by OLA or Uber but the drivers are far more decent, well-behaved, well informed about tourist attractions. Amenities in the room: One Split AC, Coffee Kit- Two sachets of instant coffee powder, tea, sugar, kettle, complimentary mineral water bottle- 1 ltr, Free Wi-Fi, western toilet bathroom with Shampoo and Bath Gel. (Towels were not provided). No geyser but the AK Residency has 24-hour solar-powered hot water provision and you get hot water even at 5 am. Breakfast Spread: I advise that you choose a booking that has breakfast included as the spread has a good variety. The spread consists of - Idli, Vada, Upma/Pongal, Kesari/Sweet pongal, Brown Bread toast with butter and jam, sambar, two types of chutneys, tea/coffee. Coffee lovers may not like the taste of coffee though. Overall: Recommended stay for family trips as well as solo/business trips. The open terrace on the first floor gives you an enchanting view of the Rockfort temple.!

Located just near Chatram bus stand (perfect location), the AK Residency is clean and provides you great hospitality. The staffs were very helpful and will guide you throughout your stay (special mention to housekeeping and restaurant staff). The AK Residency provides good room (with clean toilet) and delicious breakfast. Mr. Chettinad (in-house restaurant) of AK Residency was great. Overall experience was awesome. I'll recommend this AK Residency to every solo traveller and families too. You won't regret, just be there :).

Hotel located near chatram bus stand staffs and services are really best level. Spacious room and spacious car parking. Management maintaining the property is extremely good. I had good stayed experience. Nice easily accessible to all locations from this AK Residency location

Rooms were quite spacious, and they had a decent car park. However, all was spoiled in morning when there was no hot water in room. The night duty staff did try to make it up by providing hot water from another room but that only happened after some arguments. The hot water was clearly stopped in some central point and night duty staff wanted us to wait till 10am for that to be fixed. If they had addressed it, we would have been delighted.

We stayed for 1 day in park Inn. The AK Residency is hoped to stay. When I am booking the room, I enabled the breakfast included option and then paid for that. But once booked there is no meal plan. Even though the rate is higher, I booked since I thought breakfast is complimentary for that. But didn't get that. Please correct this issue to improve the customer experience. Thanks.

One of my worst stay experience. While entering the room got a stinking smell. Dnt sanitised properly. Mosquitoes were flying. And bathroom worst worst tap were not closed properly water is dropping and bathroom light s not thr. No heater. Totally fed up. In makemytrip this s the first tym i got a bad experience. Please don't promote such kind of AK Residency.

The best services with clean rooms and pleasent attitude from all of the staff. Managed to give the best or atleast had the generosity to give the same rooms as shown in the images in the app. Food from their own restaurant Mr. Chettinadu was ok ok. Overall good stay at the center of the city.

Two things they should look into. They take long time in reception before allocating a room for us. No hot water in bathroom even though opened the tap and waited for 15 min. As per, they suggest. Room key they are giving a small one instead of original which are easy to lose.

Rooms are good and foods from room service is good and Worth for money. Morning breakfast quality has to be improved.

The AK Residency has a good space for viewing outside spectacle. It's location is also good for visiting sightseeing. The staffs are very good. They have also breakfast facilities with variety of food items.

Good accommodation and easy access to all the places

For the price the room size was average and except room no amenities were average. Staff behaviour is good.

Hotel staff Mr. Arun is very good and kind.
