Akki Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker

Akki Nilaya in Madikeri, Coorg is the Homestay we booked via MakeMyTrip. The host is a very affable, warm hearten, sincere lady, who left no stone upturned to make my wife and myself comfortable. Her husband, a professional dentist made it a point to greet us as well. He is lively, enthusiastic and a good conversationalist. Their son a youth of 12, enjoyed laying the table for us both morning and at dinner. The complimentary breakfasts and the dinners that we were served during our stay were homely in every sense. The food was delicious and the variety substantial. The external ambiance pleasing to the eye. It just so happened that in the neighborhood there was a wholesale supplier of coffee and tea, dry fruits and homemade chocolates and wines in short our corgi shopping requirements met there only. There was no need to go the crowded City area for any such purpose. We spent 3 nights and have no doubts that when we do return to Madikeri next we shall book there only. Cheers.

It was a very good stay at akki homestay. The best part was the property owner who were very caring even before we started our stay. She called me 2 days before asking if i need anything special and whether we will need dinner on the day of coming. She also suggested what places to visit while coming to coorg. After we reached, we were welcomed warmly and they arranged jeep that is required to visit nadalpatti ( a very scenic and must visit place. The breakfast offered was tasty and when i asked for more it was instantly offered without any questions asked. They have good collection of wine and spices which is locally created/grown. And again the owners are really caring and helped us with all the queries. The location is also good and peaceful. Only thing is don't trust the location provided in mm t app. The owners guided me well on how to reach this place.

The property was much like a bungalow. Google maps took us through some weird route and so we couldn't locate the property by asking around. I would like to state both the pros and cons. Pros 1. Very close to raja's seat. We soon found that the main road was very good and wide enough. 2. Very clean toilet and bathrooms. Hot water available 24/7. All the basic toiletteries were provided. 3. Spacious room with clean blankets and towels. Wifi was available. 4. Delicious breakfast was provided. They provided tea or coffee as we requested. Cons 1. We are at the mercy of the host as there are no restaurants or tea stalls nearby. This was the only cons as we traveled with a baby and had to find a restaurants for snacks and milk. Overall the stay was good and the host was polite and helpful.

When we arrived, the route shown by google was a very narrow road and we were wondering if we had chosen the right place. But as soon as we. Entered the property, the rooms and the cleanliness changed our mind instantly. The host soujanya is also very polite and took care of everything that we asked. The complimentary breakfast provided by her( cooked by her) was so good and we enjoyed the stay very much. As my daughter is very choosy with food, it was good to have access to the kitchen and i was able to prepare food for her too. Overall a very good experience.

The property is very beautiful n clean. Our hosts were friendly and helpful an took care of our comfort. The property is a bit far from the City so having your own vehicle will be helpful. However, our hosts arranged for an auto that we could call for drops from the Akki Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker. They negotiated for us with the travels and got us good deals. Food served was very good breakfast was awesome. Overall, it was a great place to chill as our room had a balcony and had a green view.

Traveled with the family, overall experience was nice and very homely, nature and behaviors of land Lord is something I liked the most. Ready to accommodate if there is some additional request. Food was homemade to it's nice for me and my kids. Location - was not the same which was in MakeMyTrip, I am not happy with that as it took me some time to find the location. The correct location is Unnamed Road, Bhagavathi Nagar, Madikeri, Karnataka 571201.

It was an amazing stay at Akki Homestay, firstly the location is very close to city, which was very convenient to visit places, property is very clean and spacious, very friendly owner of the property, they also guide you to plan your trip. There is a lovely dog which welcomes you whole heartedly. They also help you to organize jeep to Mandalpatti, which is a plus. I would highly recommend this home-stay for anyone. Loved our stay here.

hi it was one of the best home stays the host was very humble and accomdated our request of late check in . the place is beautifully located amidst greenery very cozy place .its ideal to go with families they provided extra beds. the sheets room interior was very clean the breakfast was having a decent spread from fruits to deserts. in all i just loved the place would recommend it to all my family n friends .. no just loved it thanks

Room was clean and hygienic facilities were good and even vehicle facilities are available.

Rooms are very cleaned specious and hygiene.

It was a pleasant experience at akki home stay, the location is convenient and the amenities provided by the owner were satisfactory. Had no issues with water, food, they don't interfere with any activities and respect the privacy of the people staying in. Would definitely recommend to others.

Location view is good and stay is comfortable but expected a good breakfast and room heater

The property is a safe and secure place for family stays, location is easily accessible, staff and the caretaker of the property was very helpful, breakfast was delicious, things were well equipped.

It was an amazing 2 day stay at Akki Homestay. Property was very clean and well maintained. Food was excellent. Friendly owners very nicely organized the trip Around Madikeri. Kids enjoyed their time with the owner's dog. Really felt like at home. I would recommend this place for all who are looking for homestay in Madikeri.

We have stayed there for 2 nights. It was worth a try for both money and peace. Breakfast was very good. It's more than the worth for the money you are paying there.

Akki home stay is very beautiful and well maintained. Stayed with group of friends, had a good time. Owner soujanya and rathish were very polite and friendly. Had a small problem with hot water except that everything went smoothly. And the place is very secured too. Highly recommended.

I stayed for two days and it was peaceful and calm. A good place for families.

Stay was just amazing and perfect in all sections cleanliness, breakfast, facilities and location of the stay. If you are a dog lover then it's a little wonderland because their little naughty dog go the spiky makes your day a memorable one. I just say go for it.

The stay was good. Hosts were very good and helpful. They arranged our sightseeing. However facility to cook and provide food for dinner and snacks was not there which landed us in difficulty as weather was not good. Apart from this issue stay was excellent.
