Good value for money+location, don't expect luxury

Location is very good right next to Bagora di haveli and the lake, and on top of German coffeehouse Edelweiss, where you can get good breakfast and "real"=european coffee. There is one thing you have to keep in mind - normal cars can not get to the Akshara Guest House, because its location is too good, its too much in the center, streets of old town are so narrow that cars can't get there, only rikshas. So you have to get off at one of the two gates of the old town, and take riksha. Don't pay more than 100. Its just 300 meters, but you will have trouble walking if you have a big bag. One is near car bridge, other south. Staff is helpful. I came late, but room was not ready. It was cleaned and made ready in 10-15 minutes. They allowed late checkout with no extra charge, as probably the other person before me had also received. I expecter free WiFi as advertised, but it was broken, so manager shared WiFi from his phone. Of course it means WiFi is only there were the manager is. Anyway, thanks to the manager.

Location is good, food is average but rooftop is awesome, we enjoyed a lot at Akshara Guest House .. Over all experience is too good. There is a no other issue Great location, right next to pichola lake/bagore ki haveli/jheel cafe near to Jagdish temple. Nice room with good view.

Love the location of Akshara Guest House. Best serivce. Peace place But one feedback that they don't have their separate gate for Akshara Guest House. Overall good Akshara Guest House, must visit again. Love to be there in Udaipur. Best city. Loved it.

Good staff and service. Best Akshara Guest House with good location I m fully satisfied with this Akshara Guest House. Lake view is also good. Value for money city palace, lake pichaolla and jagdish temple is walking distance

Very nice rooms located at the heart of the city. A value for money Akshara Guest House. The services are really quick and the staff is very cooperative. All the city attractions are situated nearby like city palace, bagore ki haveli is just a stone's throw away.
