Akshay Residency

The staff at this Akshay Residency really make your stay pleasant and comfortable. They are kind and friendly, and the whole place has a wholesome, relaxing feel. It's nicely designed, with a central well that creates an open feeling as soon as you walk out of your room. The staff light incense at certain points of the day, and it wafts up and down this well, perfuming the whole place and making it feel like a temple. There are decorations that express the unity of India's three major religions, and I feel that the whole place is run with spiritual fellowship in mind. The whole Akshay Residency is clean and tidy. Most things work quite well, and if something doesn't work, you just tell the manager and it gets fixed. The Akshay Residency provides delicious filtered, chilled water, and you can order very nice tea from their kitchen. The Akshay's location is excellent. It's just a short walk to the bank of the Godavari, where you can walk in the mornings and have a very pleasant time at the temples and ghats. As others have said, there are also plenty of good restaurants close to the Akshay Residency, so you really have your choice, and as I understand it, the Akshay can also provide food from some of these restaurants. You are also quite close to a local bus stand and to Main Road (just a few steps, really), which has excellent shopping if you want that. It's a fun road to walk along in the evenings, when all the shops are open, sidewalk vendors are out with their wear, and families, friends and couples go out to eat snacks and ice cream, and shop for everything from chappals to hardware.

The Akshay Residency is located at a nice place. It is close to railway station and some good restaurants. The staff is well behaved and attentive. The morning tea is very good. Only drawback is the breakfast timing. It is available after 8:30 am. Better go for room only. The Akshay Residency is good for family. The bathrooms can be made more clean. The rooms are spacious and bed is comfortable. You have option of warm water. I would recommend this Akshay Residency for one night stays. Compared to the price it is a good choice.

The Akshay Residency is located very near to Godavari river ghats within 400 yards. Can have a stroll on the bank of the river in the evening. Very near to Main road and market place. The Akshay Residency room is good. But we found small cockroaches moving around during night. We advised the Akshay Residency manager to take proper care for spraying pest controls every now and then. He has to heed to that which is to be verified by Make my trip. We recommend for moderate stayers on budget scale.

Hotel was located in good place which is accessible for all needs. Rooms space is good, neat and tidy, environment is good as per room expenses. I have booked room along with food service. The Akshay Residency management provides food from outside Akshay Residencys, the price was reasonable and quality of food is good. They offered budget price for food and remaining amount should be paid from customers pocket but that's fine. Overall, I can recommend this Akshay Residency.

I had traveled for a marriage function and booked 2 rooms for my family and friends. The room is OK for family, group and solo traveler. The Akshay Residency needs to improve in the room service and should offer breakfast complimentary as in that budget in many location the Akshay Residencys are providing. For railway station and gokavaram bus stand it is good transportation is available.

Really awesome location of Akshay Residency in rajmundry .. I enjoyed too much ... At walking distance godavari river is there. Awesome food served at this location. Rajahmundry (officially: Rajamahendravaram) is one of the major cities in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located on the banks of the Godavari River

Rooms are decent and worth for the money. Hotel Staff are very helpful and helped me in booking Papikondalu package trip in last minute. Location is good and various food options are available near to the Akshay Residency. Room allocation is on time. Hot water was available and Bath rooms are decent and clean.

I stayed for 2 nights Staff are Very Friendly and Room Service is in stipulated time. Very near to Railway Station and complex near to theatre Godavari River Rail cu road bridge Pushkar ghat to take holybath and famous whole sale cloth market THADITHOTA where you find all kind of cloths at reasonable price

I have stayed here for 2 days and the trip was cool and peaceful. It was located in nice place and also near to godavari. Staff are good. But the food costs much and also OK to taste. Room is not as big as I expected.

Overall a good place to stay ... Pricing was a bit more I guess for the stay as they need to have a 24 hour checking-checkout for better and longer stay and repetitive customers. A little or more varieties(South Indian) would be a value add for people travelling fro other parts of the state ...

Lift was not working .. Otherwise it's good to stay ... I will say value for money. Bathroom was not so much clean. Room service was good. OK to stay for the amount we have. Nice area and everything was near
