D Fort Hotel Kollam

welcome was good. property is above average. Close to the beach. But it is more of a fishing harbour than a beach for relaxation. Staff were friendly. Food was tasty. Morning breakfast buffet was very good.

Excellent location. The restaurant is maintained very well. No refrigerator in rooms. AC performance not at par.

We had a competition in Anglo Indian school thangassery and took this resort for a day stay. For our purpose the stay was very near to our school. We stayed very less time inside room as we were out to participate in program. But the resort as such was very comfortable, clean and hygienic. It's in a silent peaceful locality. Food was good. Cudnt enjoy amenities due to lack of time. Customer care was also good. They provided us late check out upon request. We have no complaints. Thank you makemytrip for this pleasant stay.

AC was noisy and no hot water was coming

Rooms are average, no scenic beauty from the room. Breakfast spread is poor, no food available after 10:30 pm in the premise. Only good part was the ayurvedic treatment.

The rooms were super spacious and well maintained.. very satisfied with the stay. The food we had from the rooftop restaurant was extremely good, and the ambience was a special mention... overall experience is good

It said it's ayurveda resort, but food was mostly non-vegetarian, no hot water availability, place stinked of ayurveda oil,

very small space inside apartment, not even mentioned in specifications Rate was also too high ...

Superb Environment and i must say For family is awesome place to stay. staff's were so supportive and helpful . u must try Massage . so relaxing and rejuvenating. worth to stay

The entire experience was so heartwarming, people are so sweet and my father, a true tea fan, loves the tea here (asked me to mention this specifically)

The property is near the sea. The surroundings are good the room size is good & clean. Food options are limited and too spicy. It's slightly over priced looking at the facilities.

Overall poor experience overpriced property with hardly any good food menu.i also want to share the experience with other travellers. I can from Delhi and I was suppose to meet my office colleague( male 2 person) for 1 hr in my room and then going out for dinner. Even colleague were coming from chennai & Trivandrum. The hotel said we had some bad experience 2 days back so as policy we have stopped guest entry . I spoke to 2 layers of supervisory and requested and told abt the importance but to my surprise they should zero hospitality. I would suggest traveller to avoid such hotels where the management is so insensitive & ready to display such bad hospitality

The hotel ambience is good but the staff are not friendly and feel bad for their behavior, decided not to book again in their hotel

The swimming pool was not maintained. I had to follow up to get a room. There was clogging issue in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was pretty good.

Good and comfortable stay. Staff are very courteous and helpful. However, few things could have been better. Daily room cleaning and service wasn't done while my stay at the hotel. Also lack of hot water in the bathroom was another disappointment. Overall, i will recommend this hotel looking for a short stay in kollam.

Great experience. It’s a nice and cosy stay. Kudos to arun for extraordinary hospitality and must try ayurvedic treatments. Sneha is a wonderful therapist there.

Its an old property and lot of mosquitoes were there and the staff was very arrogant in nature and not service minded
