An excellent stay. Exceptionally hospitable staff. Special thanks to Anupji for being so sensitive to our needs. We had originally booked for one night but the ambiance and tranquility bowled us over, we extended our stay for another two nights. If you are looking out for a holiday ad mist nature in true sense, away from the city, in clean pollution free environment, this is your place. It's a 142 years old Tata property spread over 1600 acres of tea garden. There is tea factory also in the campus, you can visit and See the process with the ama Stays & Trails | Plantation Trails Coorg staff. Food options are very limited, obviously because it's more of a guest house than ama Stays & Trails | Plantation Trails Coorg but whatever fixed menu was served was very tasty. Our baby is 8 months old, but the staff took care of his special needs of food and prepared whatever was required just as asked for. Phone networks don't work here, only Airtel. Also would suggest to carry your specific personal requirements like baby diapers, sanitary napkins, medicines because this place is quite away from the City. Overall just the right place to unwind yourself and spend time with your family and yourself. As you see you see only greenery, as you breathe you breathe only fresh air.

We arrived at Plantation Trails by Tata Coffee at 7pm which was 6 hours before check-in time. The management was unwilling to give us rooms for temporary storage of our bags or time to freshen up and wait prior to our check-in. Luckily, the security guard was courteous and he made provisions for us to relax for a bit before we got out looking for breakfast. Surely, other ama Stays & Trails | Plantation Trails Coorgs or stays of brands as big as Tata would have done more for guests who come a few hours prior to check-in. This was a let down from Tata which is the parent brand of Taj- a champion of hospitality. Coming to the stay, if you are looking for grand rooms, prepare to get disappointed. Plantation Trails by TC is amazing simply due to its location in the woods. The bungalows look like an average guest house. The food is overpriced and tastes average. But you will be mind blown on account of the Coffee Estate Safari which is headed by courteous and knowledgeable staffers of the estate. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and had great fun. Everything else was a minor hiccup considering the overall experience.

Stay at TATA Tea Plantations was an amazing experience however the only thing disappointing was that at a price of a 5 star ama Stays & Trails | Plantation Trails Coorg the homestay offered a two star experience. The personal butler service was amazing and so was the experience of staying in a 200 year old bungalow; however at 10K + you expect something more. Maybe it was just me but I expected a little more at the pricetag that this bungalow carried. Pros: Heritage Stay/ Close to nature/ Great customer service by the butler and his team. Cons: Rooms look under-maintained and can do with a little more decor. Basic services like intercom/ basic daily amenities like water bottles, 5 star cleanliness seemed missing. WiFi was poor and so was basic GSM connectivity. WiFi despite being promised was as good as not present. Good one time stay. Different experience. Bit expensive.

We heard so much from friends about the Tata coffee estate bungalows that we too decided to go and see it for ourselves. The estates are beautiful! It's a privilege to see such beauty. However, we were not bowled over by the bungalows [we stayed at Cottabetta] and while it was comfortable and charming, it wasn't magical as we had assumed. The staff was very courteous but we got irritated by the constant keeping to time. We were on a leisure trip, not on some drill to constantly adhere to the bungalow routines and timings! They were considerate enough to let us do a late check-out, so we could happily leave an hour later. While the jeep drive through the estate was informative and fun, the nature-walk for birding was disappointing. A walk in the golf-course is not nature-walk! Despite all this, I would recommend this experience to all since such beauty is hard to come by.

It was a pleasant stay amidst coffee plantations far from the maddening crowd and noise of a metropolitan city. You can hear sounds of nature. Keeping in mind it's a 5 star property from Taj the overall maintenance needs an upgrade. This is a 3 bedroom property for 6 people but there was a bench in lawn which can make only 2 people sit, they should place more lawn chairs and a canopy/umbrella to have real experience of nature in open air. Washrooms surely need upgrade and the larger washroom must have a bathtub. Full price of this property is high per night but I got it for less and I still feel it is slightly expensive. It should be priced accordingly. Nature walk/Coffee estate safari was nice and informative which was included in the price. Staff is polite and courteous. Overall stay was fantastic.

We had our family trip to Coorg in March 2017 and stayed at the Wishfully Bungalow, which is one of the colonial styled Bungalows offered by Plantation Trails. It has been a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Though the location is far, it is situated in the heart of coffee estates. A very well maintained property, the staff is very hospitable, there is a cook provided for the bungalow. The bungalow has a well maintained garden and verandah with blooming flowers of various kinds and offers a great scenic view. The rooms are large and spacious. A wonderful place to experience a historic and relaxing stay. Its a great option for nature lovers and people who would like a quiet, peaceful stay away from the hustle bustle of city life.

We had issues at the time of check in. The ama Stays & Trails | Plantation Trails Coorg just said that the booking was cancelled even when it was not. We later realized that it was because we got the room at a discount and the ama Stays & Trails | Plantation Trails Coorg did not want to honor that. However MakeMyTrip call center helped and the booking was confirmed. We stayed at the Thareenullah bungalow it was beautiful. We even picked avocado off the trees. The coffee tea was just amazing. Food was very average I expected better. The morning drive to the Tata coffee estate was an extra ordinary it is something one must not Miss. The ginger tea with a slice of time is a must try.

We stayed in Woshully for 2 nights. Excellent location admist huge coffee estate, lined with rosewood and silver wood trees. If you are planning to be with the nature, chirping of birds and just laze around then, this would be the place. We got the side room which seemed to be an extended afterthought of this heritage property. Restrooms were clean but not to the expectation of a Tata maintained property. The towels were clean but they were worn out. Food was good. We were able to taste pork and rice Dal and we're also treated to nice custard caramel. Overall the stay was nice. But if your expect action is high then maybe temper it down.

Excellent and awesome. An excellent experience of mother nature filled with full greenery. A must treat for eyes. Excellent hospitality by the entire staff.

This was one of the most memorable experiences I have had in the recent past. Most beautiful and a very Homely; Quiet; relaxing; soothing place to refresh ones mind and body. The staff were on top of everything right from making you feel at home to being the most courteous. This is an awesome place to stay and rejuvenate. We stayed at the COTABATO Bungalows and this is the BEST one of the lot as its placed on the Highest point in Pollibetta... The coffee plantation drive was an excellent one...

We really enjoyed everything about the 150 year old heritage property. The staff was very courteous and took care. The safari was memorable. The room was very nice. We really enjoyed the home style dinner and sumptuous breakfast. The location was very scenic. Couldn't have asked for more! Highly recommended. Special mention for makes he in-charge of the facility.

Thaneerhulla cottage rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was very polite and prepared meals exactly as per instruction. Locations of all the cottages are best with them situation right in the middle of respective estates. Highly recommend staying here.

Had a pleasant stay, booked by seeing the Brand name TATA and this us up to my expectations, loved the resort planning to be here again, on flipside it's not in Madikeri, it's in Pollibetta wherever we want to go have to travel minimum 40 KMS, food is on bit high cost but appreciate the staff.

It was amazing, had a good time bird watching and the coffee plantation trip. It was quite romantic and secluded. The place is in between the coffee plantation giving a good view. A very positive vibe at that place.

Excellent ama Stays & Trails | Plantation Trails Coorg and has all amenities you need for a family stay. We had a one year old and they would cook exactly what we need and the way we need. Great hospitality and it seemed like a family home more than a ama Stays & Trails | Plantation Trails Coorg. Staff is very helpful and suggest local cuisines.

It was a very pleasant stay. The bungalow was situated in the heart of a coffee plantation. The view all Around was beautiful and very soothing to all the senses. The room was clean and well kept. The toilet and bathroom was hygienic. There was adequate lounging area both inside and outside the bungalow. The food was home made and fresh cooked. The negatives about the stay would include the absence of Wi-Fi and slightly overpriced food. Overall it was a great stay and will recommend it to others.
The room was well decorated with antique items.

This probably is the best stay I have had till now. The rooms are the best and the estate is premium in class. The resort/estate is typical british architecture and has very good service. You get your own butler, and your personal guide. If you are planning for a get away for 2-3 days and you plan budget then think no more. Go for Ama Plantation.

Great vacation with awesome hospitality, experience, locale. The service quality was great with personalized offering. Food was made with home grown ingredients with homely touch. Will repeat soon
