Amba Regency

Location is excellent, very near to mg marg and other markets, which gives you lot of options for food and shopping. Property was clean and staff cordial. Best part was roof top resturant giving awesome view of the city. We booked suite with balcony which is quite bigger than usual rooms. These rooms are very few so you need to book well on advance. This room features balcony cum garden which adds to the awesome experience. Food taste was good. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant but does have a bar along with it so make your choice accordingly. Tv was not working. Also whilst there is kettle and sugar but no milk potso we had no choice but to make black coffee. So these can be improved. We took complimentary breakfast but options are limited e. G. They served poha, toast and chapati with aaloo sabzi and tea. Overall excellent experience for the price.

I stayed there OK i stayed in Amba Regency amba regency from 24th to 26th April. Room was very spacious and comfortable, house keeping was nice, staff. Behavior was courteous, very big led TV twin bathrooms with good quality toiletries, coffee maker. Dinner were tasty and hygienic, ambiance of restaurant was excellent. Music, projector and big screen added to mood. Best part was the complemintary breakfast with huge variety and tasteful, hot and fresh served in style at valley facing balcony. Another plus was being pure vegetarian. Location is excellent and very close to the centre just down the m g marg. We thoroughly enjoyed and strongly recommend to perspective visitors. !

The property was clean and at a good location with the great mountain view. But what disappointed us was the unprofessional behaviour of the manager. He booked a north sikkim package for us including travel and Amba Regencys. But when we reached lachen, no Amba Regency was booked and same was for lachung as well. It caused a lot of inconvenience to us at a completely new place and we had book Amba Regencys at instant. He was even unavailable when we tried to reach him out. So we would suggest a stay at amba regency but not booking any other sikkim tours/taxis through them.

Hotel is in a good a good location. Service is good. Friendly staff is there. View is not good from lower floors as mainly it is blocked by adjacent Amba Regency. Bathroom amenities is not upto the mark. Geyser worked just fine. Very basic toiletries have been provided nothing impressive. Breakfast is good. Lot of food varieties and good food. Overall good location, average rooms, good service. If you are looking for something under budget, then go for it. P. S. Lot of stairs to climb and no lift is present, so if you are not comfortable, please avoid this.

Only the rooms with mountain views are worth booking. Customer service was not at par with the amount paid. Water supply in the washroom was a major issue. There was no sufficient hot water on the days of our stays. Staff was mostly unavailable. A simple tea would take more than half an hour to reach the room. Location is good but the service was extremely bad. 4 star rating is only for location of the Amba Regency. Other than that nothing worked. Overall service is 1 star.

Everything was just superb. We booked a family mountain view room through MMT and we got the room what we are looking for. Food was fine. But I think they should introduce more variety in buffet breakfast. We have decided to stay there again in our next visit as well. Wish you good luck Amba Regency. Keep rendering your services like this always.

We stayed almost 5 days room service was excellent, breakfast was awesome, room were awesome. The best thing was the support from manager. He took care of our laptops almost for 2 days on request without any pay understanding our situation as we were out for north sikkim. He arranged a excellent room also on return on prompt.

Meet our family expectations either being spacious room or food and especially rooftop restaurant having good options. Had a great dinner time during our stay. Mg marg is just a 5 mins walk from property. The only issue we found is parking space, else all good. Thank you team.

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10 am. We got to Amba Regency super early and i didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.
