Amber Dale Luxury Hotel and Spa

this is my second visit to Amber dale after a gap of exactly 1 year. there are a couple of hits and misses . what's good: the location is perfect spot in the misty mountain, the valley view is breathtaking. 9/10 for hospitality, checkin/checkout process, housekeeping and customer relationship. what needs improvement: the selection of Al a carte food menu is very limited. could have added more dishes. there are too many guests with infants/toddlers, they could have had more baby chairs/cots. whats bad (need fixing): the items in recreation clubs are damaged. from missing chess pieces to damaged table tennis racquet, none of them are playable. except for the foosball table, everything needs to be repaired/bought new. Spa experience was average. eventhough therapist was knowledgeable, the ambience was worst. the room size for spa was so small that only one person can stand. no proper ventilation for the room. no music/ambient light. just a ticking clock sound which ruins the overall experience. location: 9/10 reachability: have to avail private cab/pickup drop facility overall 7/10 facility: have most of the amenities, but misses swimming pool. food: average. value for money: 7/10

Amber dale is located with a beautiful view of the hill and a valley, the rooms planned in the same way as well. The amenities provided by the property is amazing. We stayed at a sarja superior without any meals included. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom especially was super clean. Since the refrigerator wasn’t working they immediately provided us with an ice box. High tea was served and they had many activities such as cycling and a guided trek in the morning, cooking demo and non fire in the evening. Unfortunately our stay was very short. Best way to enjoy munnar is to stay for 4-5 days, do enough sight seeing and enjoy calm evenings at properties like amber dale. The staffs were so courteous and immediately responded to our needs. They waved us good byes and were in touch till we reached our next destination ) a very pleasant stay indeed. Thank you amber dale

We stayed in ananta room for 3 nights. The Amber Dale Luxury Hotel and Spa is situated on the hilltop. The view from the balcony was awesome. They have inhouse multi cuisine restaurant. The price paid includes breakfast, early morning tea during sunrise and hi tea. Daily evening 2 hours they serve 2 types of snacks and tea followed by cooking demo and boon fire. The rooms are spic and span. They have indoor games, gym and spa. Breakfast is elaborate with lots of options. Food is good too. All the staff are courteous. Only problem is the cook time in the restaurant is long. Be prepared to wait at-least half an hour after placing order but then the taste and quality of food is good.

My stay at amber dale Amber Dale Luxury Hotel and Spa was very pleasant and comfortable. I booked the ananta premium valley room and the view from the balcony is simply awesome. The lush tea valleys and the passing clouds are clearly visible. The welcome by Amber Dale Luxury Hotel and Spa staff was very warm and they were very courteous. The staff were very helpful and quick to assist in case of any concerns. Food was very tasty at the restaurant and i really enjoyed having hot tomato soup and coffee in the morning by the great view. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay close to the town but a little away from the hustle and bustle.

My stay at amber dale was truly delightful. The rooms were impeccably clean and provided a comfortable retreat throughout my stay. The amenities offered, from the cozy bedding to the in-room facilities like high-speed wi-fi and well-stocked toiletries, contributed to a pleasant and relaxing experience. The Amber Dale Luxury Hotel and Spa's amenities were top-notch, with excellent facilities like a well-equipped gym and a refreshing pool. Dining options were diverse and satisfying, offering delicious meals accompanied by exceptional service. Additionally, the attentive concierge service and laundry facilities added convenience to my stay.

It was an average stay, they do not have ac in room ( even after 10k + rent ) and in summer it is a must. I had visited in the past during winter and felt amazing with the weather and view from top ( though partial bally view. Things to point out the reception staff and chef were really cordial and accommodating when pointed out some flews in food we ordered and issues in room (water dripping from washroom ceiling and some equipments not working in room), they even cancel-led our food bill which was around 1. 5 k though i insisted to pay.

The stay at amber-dale was great. Location of the resort is at pallivasal, before munnar and the view from the resort is at the least great, i would say. For dinner, we tried cream veg soup, chicken satay and filato de cernia. All were good, i won't say great. Did swedish massage at the spa center, followed by steam bath and hot water bath. It was a refreshing experience. All staff members were very cordial and they helped, guided us with utmost hospitality. No shop access nearby, so remember to bring in necessary items, if required.

on arrival warm welcome! it was our Anniversary stay well advance informed But sorry to say they didn't get in touch with us for the same! At the time of check out we appraised and the offered the cake which was kept for us and made the day for us! Good ambience and location on top of hill with valley view from room's balcony! Nature at it's best with Tea gardens! But room was not so perfect and approach to Hotel 🏨 was terrible and narrow with high gradient! things was appraised at the time of check out!

I recommend to staying in this Amber Dale Luxury Hotel and Spa! staff is soo adorable and educated about the hospitality that they will not let you down in anything! the service will be beyond your expectation. I travel-led with my 9 months baby and the staff gave us extra care which was so great to see!

As soon as we entered they offered us spice coffee and hot chocolate milk and as soon as we checked in we got a guide book in which we could see the places of munnar. It was really helpful the staff was amazing very handy and helpful and they are really polite. The munnar weather feels it's the amazing place and gives the feeling of heaven. The beauty of munnar is not explainable in words if you are a nature lover it's the best place to visit

This was our first day in amber dale. We stayed here for 2 nights in the valley view room called ananta. It was a great experience and amazing view of tea gardens and mountains. The restaurant service was extremely good, there was a variety of food in breakfast and every dish was extraordinary. Staff services and their warm welcome are really good and polite and they are so helpful for our basic needs and logistics. Overall this place is the perfect stay in munnar with your loved one.

Extraordinary Amber Dale Luxury Hotel and Spa, cant get over it

I stayed in valley view rooms…ananta…and the view is mesmerising….worth getting up in the morning to see the sunrise from ur room..no words can do it justice…the service at the restaurants n the Amber Dale Luxury Hotel and Spa as a whole is commendable..The food is pretty good and the ambience is great as well

Beautiful property with comfortable rooms and daily events to keep residents engaged. Very friendly and helpful staff who keep checking on you from time to time.

Staff is very courteous, spread of the buffet breakfast and dinner is great, and the location of the Amber Dale Luxury Hotel and Spa is in a very serene place.

Overall good stay. We stayed in madhura which has jacuzzi also. We enjoyed the stay in beautiful city of munnar. The services needs to be improved specially housekeeping service response time.

The view from the Amber Dale Luxury Hotel and Spa was excellent and we enjoyed the day stay there.

The location is awesome. The scenic view of the valley is mesmerizing. Room service needs some improvement, they took around 1 hour and 30 minutes to refill the water bottle and similarly instead of kadhai pane-er they served another dish. These are some issues that need further improvement. However it's recommended.

Beautiful location, nice rooms, food is very good, service is excellent. Overall i had a fantastic stay. Would love to visit again.
