They don’t clean the room on daily basis.

The property is neat & hygiene. The biggest comcern is approachability, you need walk 800 meters to reach the hotel from “nandi junction” no auto or cab can enter the road. The owner mr. Arvind singh is a gentle man. No in-house food facility is available if you arrive late at night. The hotel manager is not courteous. Check-in check-out not 24hrs format.

The kashi vishwanath temple and the main ghats are are within 4-5 minutes walking distance. The rooms dont have a refrigerator but the hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. I had some great conversations with the owner who is very knowledgeable and he was even kind enough to drop me on his bike to the nearest taxi stand so that i could catch my flight on time. Would highly recommend the place.

Very good except road. Hospitality is superb

This is a good location but unfortunately we had a few issues with our stay. The bathroom was leaking from somewhere which left our whole floor just soaked the whole time, the rooms were freezing and the aircon didn’t work so we couldn’t even put a heater on. We then asked if they offered a laundry service but we left in a day so when they said yes they didn’t explain that it is hand dried so we wish they just said no as it wouldn’t be done in time. We had our washing handed back to us damp but they tried to tell us it was just cold. as if we had never done washing before. We then also had to ask multiple times to get our reusable bag back from the washing, which they didn’t end up giving back but luckily we had found in their reception hanging over a chair downstairs, even though they claimed it was lost. Not to mention the noise is horrendous from whoever lives opposite, it kept us up all night as there isn’t much of a window so the noise comes straight in. Could’ve been better.

We had a very blissful stay at Anand kanan. Some of the good things about the property are: The property is exactly as shown in pictures. The stay feels somewhere between a hotel and homestay, warm and comfortable. The diversity of toursit visiting this property is also commendable and leads to great insghtful conversations. Certain things to keep in mind: The property is located in the narrow lanes of varanasi, so carrying heavy luggage can be a concern( though this shall be addressed soon . The lift is not operational yet. Yet the best part of this property is its host Mr Arvind. You cant expect a better host and guide in you stay at varanasi.
