Amazing atmosphere with good ambiance and very good service

Budget friendly place makes feel like you are in village Very nice stay food was awesome near to beach

I had been to this home stay I won t call it a resort My experiences were more than comfortable felt like staying at one of my own relatives place The elderly couples were very welcoming from the start In fact Mr Tilekar who in his sixties made sure that the rooms allotted to us were clean and tidy There are three rooms on the first floor which he lets out on daily basis Rates are quite modest you get tea and breakfast which are charged extra Lunch and dinner you have to source out from nearby restaurants Ideal location for people interested in scuba snorkelling Shivaji s Sindhudurg fort is also nearby Malvan jetty is also walk able Not a scenic location though but quite resourceful for families who are going with kids Clinics medical stores are all nearby which I didn't find in other scenic location like Tarkali or Devgad beaches which do have good hotels beaches but doesn't have basic facilities which I mentioned earlier Travelling is also easier as you get lot of buses and rickshaws to travel across other beaches If you have your own car then you can look other locations The only thing I had issues that most hotels serve only thali fish chicken mutton etc their vegetarian was quite boring You don t have an option to eat a Chinese Punjabi or Mughlai Got bored of eating Malvani thali twice a day for four days Food are more expensive than Mumbai even fish dishes were costly given it s a coastal area Rest this place and nearby is 10 times peaceful and scenic as compared to Goa.
