Andaman Residency

Hotel location is convenient. Ambience of the Golghar area as well as the Andaman Residency itself is good. Of course one should be lucky not to get a room in the basement. In the close vicinity of the Andaman Residency we have Golghar market, a no. Of ATMs and a few restaurants. The Andaman Residency is also pretty close to Airport, Cellular jail, Aberdeen jetty, Phoenix Jetty etc. Hotel staff is cordial and helpful. Amenities in the room like clean linen, clean bathroom, hot water for bathing, AC, TV, intercom etc. Are satisfactory. Food served in the Andaman Residency is good and tasty. Free WiFi facility is available in the reception.

The Hotel's Location is good. It's almost very near to the main market of Port Blair, ie, Aberdeen Bazar. The Cellular Jail and Airport are also very near to the Hotel. The external appearance is also nice. The Reception area is average. The Rooms are good in size but interiors have to be improved. The Cots have to be changed. They made sounds whenever you turn left or right while sleeping. The Wifi overall at Andamans should be improved. Only night time, you can get connected to internet. The staff were very cooperative. We are Vegetarians, so didn't had food in the Hotel. Overall, Hotel is good.

We couples stayed 3 days at the Andaman Residency, rooms are average, toilet are neat and clean. Very good location (1.5 Km from airport) centre place to everywhere, friendly staff, best for budgeted price, Andaman Residency provided us 10% discount on food bill, food also nice to eat, and provided arrival drink and mineral water bottle. Food price also reasonable when compare to other restaurant in Port Blair. Internet facility should be Wifi option but the Andaman Residency having desktop facility to use Internet and broadband speed is not good.

We initially stayed only 2 days and after we liked it we didn't hesitate to extend it for another 2 days. The rooms were very well-maintained with highly satisfying 2 star standards. The staff were really helpful with the needs of the stay but some were not helpful with sightseeing plans. Overall, though we were satisfied with our stay at Andaman residency and would recommend it to anyone. Last but not the least we were surprised to know that the food at the restaurant there was also very good and we loved it.

We booked this Andaman Residency from makemytrip initially for one day. We liked our stay there. Therefore extended it for more days. Staff members of the Andaman Residency were good. Very co operative. Food quality was okey okey. Worth according to the rates they charges. Hotel facilities are good. Provide hot water, AC, Wi-Fi, TV. Overall we liked our stay there. For those who are looking for a good accommodation at comparatively less rates. This is the best place with very good staff.

No Wi-fi is provided in the room. Food is good. Staff is courteous. Only one thing as irritating- they asked identity proof. On showing that, they wanted to have it copied. It took 2 days to give ID card back after photo copying it, that too after many reminders. One should carry photo copy of I-card if they are staying here. They also wanted address of residence printed on I-card, which is difficult to have.

Overall value for money . . Rooms are clean & Location is OK. Jetty, Market and historical Tourist places are nearby. Its practically the city center . Mr Mullick is very helpful . Only one area of improvement - Hotel should focus on improving the catering services. Proper variety of Breakfast \ Lunch \ Dinner should be arranged . Otherwise all good to stay in this Andaman Residency.

All good. Except the fact that items in menu were unavailable mostly. Otherwise very good service. Value for money. The boys were really polite and extremely courteous. The place was silent and appropriately private. Good and cosy place to stay. WiFi was good. Hot water was available 24 hours. Good whichever items were available were well prepared. Good place. I will come back again.

Location of the Andaman Residency is good. Well connected by many tourist spots. Cleanliness was also good. And Andaman Residency staff was great at their work. Good Andaman Residency with lots of facilities. I would recommend this Andaman Residency.

Each and everything about the Andaman Residency is excellent like the hospitality, cleanliness, politeness etc.

Food is a big problem in this Andaman Residency. Limited food option with high price as compared to quality of food is negative part. Location is good, you can get transport in front of Andaman Residency itself. Rooms are very small for family staying. Overall it can be said as it is fine for single travelers.

Excellent hospitality, Guests are treated as like a family members..Particularly Mr.Yadhav approach is nice..Location of the Andaman Residency is near by all visiting spots..Keep it up..

I have gone there for a family tour. Location is good it take 10 min to reach from airport. Room was clean. Only the issue with WiFi which they offer was hardly working. And there was some mis-communication regarding chek in -check out date.

Decent Andaman Residency but slow services.I booked 2 std a/c rooms with 2beds and 3beds respectivly. One room with 2 beds was very good but in other room a/c was not working for whole of our 4 days stay and water was not there in wash basin for first 2 days.

Overall good experience. Good Andaman Residency with good facility. Hotel staff behaviour is very friendly and good. Neer to every important point. Near to airport. Nice stay. Food is also good. Room service is good.

Very cordial and cooperative staff. Clean room. Food tastes good. In a low cost budget it is a perfect choice. Location also good. Overall a big Yes! If you want a pleasure stay at an affordable price.

It's not regret at all staying here, friends, family both suitable ,. The room is little bit economic but overall I love it. Next time would love to come with groups of friends. Its a good place for students trip.

Room was OK. It could have been better, cleanliness factor was bit missing. A small stay only for the layover time and to catch the flight. An average stay, could have been better if the rooms were properly done.

It's a good value for money Andaman Residency with all basic amenities. The staff is good, polite and prompt in response. You can get an auto from just outside the Andaman Residency and can reach any place in Port Blair. All main markets and locations are nearby. Overall a decent stay option.
