Andores resort and spa: located in candolim, it is just 500m from the candolim beach. The property consists of some beautiful designed white greco portugal style buildings with high ceilings and large balcony windows, each consists of 4 rooms, 2 with garden view (ground floor) & 2 on the first floor (pool view. We booked garden view rooms, but on checking in, we were pleasantly surprised and delighted to have been upgraded to a pool view room. The rooms are decent sized and come with some thoughtful additions, like electric kettle, ironing board, an umbrella, locker, hair dryer etc. The rooms come with a small balcony where we enjoyed the monsoon rains while sipping some good tea or coffee which is promptly served as in-room dining. One of the things that can be enjoyed thoroughly is the absolute verdant plantation all around the property. The property is full of lush greenery and with the pool taking center stage, the visuals are very soothing. The pool is very thoughtfully designed, wherein some benches are kept half submerged in water so as residents enjoy the pool without necessity to get into the pool for a swim. It's quite a large pool and since the property is comparatively smaller than other Andores Resort And Spas, thus the pool provides decent exclusivity for small families or a couple. The housekeeping staff does a good job with the daily cleaning of the room. The Andores Resort And Spa also arranges for cabs or bike for hire at very reasonable rates, and the service is provided right at the Andores Resort And Spa itself. We hired a 2 wheeler for a day and a baleno automatic for 2 days, with good experience. Our airport drop was arranged by the Andores Resort And Spa, which was cheaper than the uber rates. The laundry service, however leaves much scope for improvement. First of all it's expensive and the service was pathetic. Our clothes came badly ironed, in fact with creases, and some undergarments came in slightly wet. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They take feedback seriously and try to make you feel comfortable as much as possible. We had complimentary breakfast in our package and it was a decent spread always, with a mix of indian and continental items, like appam, puri bhaji, chole, poha, semolina, idlis, porridge, baked beans, sausages, a chicken item and live counters with dosa, omelette, waffle, fruit juices, pita bread, hummus, vegetable juice, tea, coffee and many more. I personally liked their fruit smoothie a lot. The staff at the breakfast are good and attentive. The chef himself is available always for suggesting and adhere to any specific requests or items, if required. The property lacks a good in house restaurant, and it mostly is not very interesting, and thus we skipped our lunches and dinners as the eateries outside the property seemed far more exciting. The property can also think of having some in house entertainment, like table tennis, some indoor games, music corners etc. The lounge was a very dull place and needed to be pepped up with some activities. The gym was definitely to be avoided with hardly any ventilation and very inadequate exercise equipments. The gym area also has the spa and massage center, again it lacks the energy or vivacity of a live area, and gives an impression of neglect. Most of goa's hot spots are close by, like the aguada fort, sinquerim fort view, taj aguada and night clubs like sinq, thus one can always plan the day and evenings with lots of activities around the Andores Resort And Spa area, say within a radius of 5-7 kms, which also includes the very clean beach too. Overall, a pleasant stay and wishing the team all the best for the future.

This place is a paradise in the heart of city. Me and my family had a very comfortable stay and this resort enhanced our overall experience of the trip. After the tiring trip, we loved when we used to comeback to the resort. The resort has good enough space for kids to play. Loved the Swimming pool, it is amazingly maintained. The breakfast spread was decent. Room service menu was limited but the food quality was very good. Staff were very courteous. Highly recommended if anyone is looking for a nice and peaceful stay near Baga/Calangute.

The Andores Resort And Spa, location, room and service was excellent which definitely deserve a 5 star rating but the only drawback was the breakfast and in room food options which weren’t the best overall it was actually a 5 star experience but they can definitely improve on food from average to excellent hence giving 4 stars yet i’ll recommend this Andores Resort And Spa to everyone

Property is excellent Close to beach. Staff r well behaved Food is good. The only problem was that Reception or house keeping person were not picking the intercom.
