Anora Beach Resorts

My first resort experience. Anora made the best experience. I really don't have words to express but still i will give you some review in detail. I felt a bit far but the ambience is very good. Right from the entrance with a welcome drink. I was happy till i left. Swimming pool, rain dance but no songs lilo disappointed, kids play is okay, indoor games. Food is really good bit costly. Breakfast is unlimited with good combo of breakfast items, coffe, tea, milk, juice, fruits and many more. Rooms are so nice and tidy. Room and restaurant service was also good. Rather than seeing reviews, experience will give more good feel. Photoshoot resort. Many places were there for taking pics. Finally made us to be happy till the end. Thank you anora for your hospitality.

The resort is a little isolated but that is both and advantage and disadvantage depending on what your purpose is. The surroundings are lush green and the upkeep of the open spaces is great. The road to the nearest beach is not that great and could have been much better ( it’s like an off road trail ). The food is passable but worth it for the price and the location it’s being provided at. The rooms are great and the fixtures in the restroom are also nice and clean. Would surely recommend for a nice weekend getaway from the city

The stay and ambience was really good. Only one cons is about dinner. That was a buffet dinner and i have a 3 yr old son who wants to eat while playing nearby. But the staff was very rude not to have food outside the dining hall. I was told that the child needs some space to eat and the dining hall was so hot. We needed to move to a nearby play area but the staff stopped us without considering the request and our child doesn't eat well at night. Most of them were really disappointed abt this issue.

We have booked a room for one day on sun-day 14th aug 22 check in 15th checkout. We stayed as a family of four 2 adults & 2 kids. We selected pool villa. Worth the stay. Food is very good but bit expensive. Coffee & tea @ rs. 70 is in the higher side. Good service from all the staffs. The activity area can be improved. Common pool is maintained well. Worth the money & you can spend 1 day well. Beach is very far, we went by car - anora beach resort name is misguiding. Overall good stay

This is my first stay in Anora. Great resort to visit and the resort is well maintained and clean. But the rooms definitely need some maintenance especially on doors. Biggest disappointment is hot water not available at room even at rainy season and some junk reason for that. It's tough to manage kids without hot water given rainy season. Food is excellent and the staffs are friendly. The Beach access is too far from resort and the Beach is not clean as well.

Location is not prime, but our stay here has always been peaceful. A quick getway from buzzing chennai and splash pool rooms are a bliss. There were some maintenance and upkeep done to the structure and furniture, but that aspect needs to improve still. Staff had always been friendly and food here (though the menu is limited) is really good. Alamparai fort, muthaliyar kuppam boat house are nearby attractions which people should explore.

Location and the staff are very good. Only drawback I See is the english speaking personnel at least at the front desk. They tried there best to help us with the limited english they know. Also I would suggest a free flow of hot water availability is needed instead of calling the reception to switch on the geyser. Food at the restaurant also is very good and the staff in the restaurant are very courteous. Overall good experience.

This my second time stay at the resort. This time a few things have improved. The room cleanliness and food quality. The only drawback is beach is not that safe and the pond at the entrance is still dirty which still I was amazed. Food was excellent especially the chicken sizzler. The check out time should be 12 noon at least and the lawn should be lit properly. Overall a relaxing weekend. I would rate it 4 star on 5.

Excellent accomodation, but food is not upto the mark. Private juckzee is superb also the ambience and hospitality is good

We went to Anora with 2 kids and we chose pool room. Positives spacious room, nice ambiance, children play area and breakfast. Areas to be improved- rooms have some cracks in the walk path, pillows can be better, dinner has full North Indian spread could have balanced it.

I had booked for a two night stay at the resort. Location was a good 25 km from mahabalipuram. No access to beach within the resort. Beach is around a kilometre away and accessed via public road. Room was neat and clean. Clean and spacious bathroom. Food was good reasonably priced. Staff were friendly. Pool was clean and well maintained. Other facilities like shuttle court, mini golf, table tennis lacked maintenance

Food and rooms was very good. Location was very nice. Neat and clean in the rooms. Open shower rooms was different

Ok ok food and not worth for money

Restaurant was crowded. Hotel has to arrange for social distancing by giving time slots for various rooms.

The location is about 30 kms from. Mahabalipuram. It is excellent place to stay and the swimming pool inside the room is amazing. Strongly recommend for stress free stay.

Good Property, tasty Food, indore games table tennis and careoms are good environment, outdore games shuttle are good. Kids enjoyed jacuzzi bathtub and swimming, Service also Good. Beach outside of resort need to travel 1 km and after 7 its completely dark at beach.

The place is good, but need regular maintenance. Furnitures in the room are old and not maintained well. Food can be better.

This is a good resort. Nice ambiance. Beach is near( around 2km by walk) rooms are ok. Can be better by maintaining it. Wardrobe repair. Open to air bathroom is attraction. Swimming pool is ok. Support staff is also good. Cleaning and other staff are helpful. Chef is good. So enjoyed food at their restuarant. Language was not a barrier. Will plan to visit again to enjoy and relax.
