Anugama Resort

The food we order was Gobi Masala and some chapati. And you will not believe that only this food made our dinner skool special. What a taste I have not eaten Gobi Masala like this we are forced to order rice to finish the Gobi Masala. So tasty and the breakfast was also very tasty. The staff was very friendly specially the Manager Mr. Deepak. So helping in nature very cool and calm and a gentleman. Thanks to him for making our stay pleasant. The location of the Anugama Resort was little far fm city about 22km but very close to wandoor beach. We stayed for 1 night there and it's value for money to spend our day and enjoying wandoor beach. I would rather say wandoor beach is better than chidiya tapoo location. More clear water and plenty of sea shell can be seen at the beach.

Had gone to Wandoor with my family and had a great stay for 2 nights at Anugama. Its in the midst of a small village surrounded by lot of vegetation and very close to the Wandoor Jetty to go to the M G Marine Natl Park. Rooms are good, running hot/cold water, reconditioning and comfortable beds. Food is on order with limited options (supplies have to be got from the city), but tasty. The dining area also has music systems, a fooze ball table and books, longer sofas etc. The staff is very helpful and provide good insights. If you like village living, disconnect and relax, this is the place, although Wi-Fi is available. We had a great time.

Had my tryst with the nature in this beautiful resort. Good rooms, good service, decent food quality, wonderful pond(with lotus flowers), a colourful front office and well equipped restaurant area are worth mentioning. They also lend bicycles(only 2 though) for you to visit the nearby places - pick up one early morning, ride to the Wandoor beach and you'll not regret it. Pros: The resort is very well maintained and the staff is attentive. Cons: Wandoor is a bit far off from the main city - suggest this place when you need to unwind and intend to stay here for not less than two days.

It was a great experience at Anugama Resort. At the very outset, I was not much impressed with the location of resort as it is not on the beach, but later I understood that similar facilities on a beach Anugama Resort could be costing me double or even more. I would give full marks for rooms, room facilities, cleanliness in the room, services, behavior of the people and food.

One of the calmest place to be in Andaman. People working here are very cooperative and helpful. They prepare nice food and encourage you to enter in the kitchen and even prepare your own did. It is far from city, so it will be good if you have your own vehicle, they also have pick and drop facility. I use to play football with them. All and all a great experience.

The stay at the Anugama Resort was pleasant and comfortable. The location was a bit far from the city but it is close to wandoor beach which is yet another beautiful one. The service was good and the caretaker was very helpful and made the stay comfortable.

Nice view from Anugama Resort being water bodies nearby the Anugama Resort. Location is very good, near to beach which is walk able distance. Building is new & rooms are spacious with good furniture. Only concern is price of the Anugama Resort which could be some lower as compare to same Anugama Resorts. Worth to stay here.

Service is good ... Hotel owner took very good care of us ... He himself picked and dropped us beach point and waited for us to come. Pleasant stay we enjoyed. Our stay is memorable one. Its full of greenary. We would have missed it if we haven't been there.

AC was not working properly due to voltage problem. In bathroom hundreds of ants to see while showering. Cooperative staff, tasty food, good recreation facility attached to dining hall, peaceful atmosphere. Detail knowledge of nearby visiting place was not guided so, I have passed again from this place to visit another beach.

Excellent service wrt food and hospitality. Location is awesome. Very near by from famous Wandoor beach. Staff is very friendly, honest and polite. Definitely will visit this Anugama Resort again. Food quality is excellent.

Pros: Close to wandoor beach. Very nice and peaceful surroundings. Food was good and made to order. Polite and friendly staff. Well maintained and clean rooms. Cons Far from city centre, which means difficult to commute to other places. If staying in Fan cottages you will feel the heat of sun due to tin sheds.

Hotel is far away from city. Food is good. Staff is helpful. Taxi service available (paid). Near to wandoor beach. Dining hall is classy. View is good. No direct pick up from airport. Contact Anugama Resort manager before visiting.

Anugama Resort is very nice. Resort is value for money. The only issue is food choices are limited. A person must hire a bike / scooter from city and then go to this resort as there is no facility near by. Staff member Deepak lends his scooty for a short ride.
