Booked 4 rooms for an unplanned trip. Was looking at an economic option. Fpund this one. The location is absolutely beautiful, especially since it had snowed. Beautiful view. Large spacious rooms. Oka bathrooms. But geysers sometimes work sometimes don't. And cold water in snow was the biggest downer. Blower is also provided on extra charges. They can arrange for bonfire and music system, at extra charges. Staff was overall warm and supportive. Food is fresh and. Nice. One of the best we could book for such unplanned trip however the location is around 300 mt away from main road and that road is not built well and can be tricky for smaller cars, especially if it is slushy with snow

Dhanaulti is located about an hour drive from the maddening crowd of Mussorie on the Mussorie Chamba road. I took Dehradun-Mussorie-Dhanaulti route. The road is in excellent condition but is hilly terrain all the way up right from Dehradun so be prepared for scenic route and careful driving. The resort is located after the ECO PARK and last 1. 5 km road is not in a good condition but once you reach the place you will forget it. The rooms offer the best view of the hills and you can trek to several hilltops from this resort. The staff was courteous and helpful. You have many attractions near by Kanatal, Kaudia forests, Sarkanda Devi. Our stay was really good!

Booking through makemytrip is horrible. On my way to a Dhanaulti, I have been informed that due to some technical issue the booking is not confirmed, though I have confirmed booking through makemytrip and I have to settle one night at another resort though arranged by Apple Orchard. Though Mr. Bhandari of Apple Orchard was very courteous. Even they offer backside room booked with makemytrip. My advice is directly book the Apple Orchard Resort By Royal Collection Hotels if you want seamless enjoyment.

Our stay at Apple Orchard was amazing. Thanks to the beautiful location, excellent service and romantic weather. The Apple Orchard Resort By Royal Collection Hotels staff was very courteous and food was also good. The rooms were pretty neat and tidy. On asking for extra blanket and blower due to extreme cold weather they provided us with them right away making it a very cozy stay.

The location was good but not on the road. We have to go down around 500m. Rooms were neat average size. Food was ok types. The staff was cooperative. we had good time. It is a budgeted Apple Orchard Resort By Royal Collection Hotels. There were no such activities there for kids. Maybe we went during off season. The experience was satisfactory.

The resort was very neat and tidy and the breakfast buffet was extensive and included a variety of fresh, delicious options that cater to all tastes. Staff here is very cooperative. We had nice stay here. Rooms for couples are quite specious and staff's attitude and their helping nature made our stay very good. We preferred veg food so they provided us with freshly made items for breakfast.
