Aranyak Homestay - Ground Floor in a Bungalor

The caretaker informed us that we couldn't close the main door because materials for other guests were stored on the ground floor, which we had booked. When we went out, we were asked to hand over the keys for the same reason. Room cleaning incurred an extra charge of ₹200 per day, and gas usage required an additional ₹500 per day. The host, Mr. Prabir, was often unreachable, and it took at least 10 calls to get in touch with him. We felt pressured to eat only the food they provided, which was three times more expensive than nearby restaurants. No toiletries were provided during our stay. The caretaker's behavior was very rude and unprofessional. The price is excessively high compared to the facilities, amenities, and location. The property is located in a remote part of Prantik. After 6:00 PM, no shops are open, and there is no proper transportation available, such as Toto, rickshaws, or vans. Additionally, the area lacks proper street lighting, which raises significant safety concerns. Overall, the stay was disappointing. Major improvements are needed in terms of privacy, customer service, and basic amenities; otherwise, this homestay should not operate.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the homestay i booked through your platform. I had a very poor experience, and i believe it is important to bring these concerns to your attention. 1. Lack of privacy and proper service: there was a significant lack of privacy during my stay. The caretaker repeatedly needed to open my door to remove belongings stored in the room, which was disruptive and inappropriate. 2. Cleaning schedule: the room cleaning could only be arranged if i stayed at home at 10:00 am, which was inconvenient and not communicated beforehand. This is an unreasonable expectation. 3. Water dispensers and misleading amenities: the water dispensers provided for both the ground and first floors were inadequate. Furthermore, amenities such as the sofa and sun deck, which were mentioned in the listing, were not available or functional. I will post everything about this home stay and poor service from makemytrip to social media so everyone can be aware of the same.

The homestay is very nasty. The cooking area is full of spiders and cockroaches. And above all the owner is a damn mad person to handle. After paying full he is asking again again again for payment. They are charging crazy amount for gas per day rs 500. I think this homestay should be stopped
