Aranyaka Resorts

Aranyaka resorts is 6 km from Munnar town. That is good because you will stay away from crowd, honking and all if you want to spend a quiet stay in nature. The Aranyaka Resorts staff was very cordial to receive you and explain the details about Munnar and various sites that you can visit. Room is good and clean. We stayed in super deluxe. View from the balcony was jaw dropping with Actual waterfall just infront of you. And you can walk up to the waterfall which is just 1. 5 km away with good tea gardens in between where you can take pics as well. Service was prompt, food was OK considering you will get same type of food everywhere. They can arrange a taxi or Auto with good drivers who is having good experience of sightseeing. Taxi charge is same compared to hiring an external taxi. It is a small resort with good collection of flowers and trees, so you can enjoy your stay if you are not going anywhere. Room service was good. Cottages adds beauty to the resort. But for elders please chose a cottage near to the main gate as there are no lifts or stairs to deluxe and super deluxe rooms but only inclined road to walk. Will suggest everyone to stay here and enjoy the vacation.

Aranyaka came as a pleasant surprise to us. The room size was decent, and we got a room in their relatively new (white) building (check the pic). The room and bathroom was perfectly clean, the bed was nice with fresh furnishing. As this building is on the top of the hillock, the view from the room/balcony is awesome. There is a waterfall in the distance (can be seen in the photos) and the sound is mesmerising. The breakfast had a good spread with a combination of south indian and north indian dishes. They also make you egg of your choice. The staff is quite helpful and friendly. I also met the owner Mr Rajesh who is a thorough gentleman and personally checked on me often on whether my stay was good and if I needed anything. The cottages need some renovation for which work will start soon (as informed by Mr Rajesh). Would certainly want to come back and stay at the resort. I travelled late Feb, but apparently Kinkily is when you should go if you want to enjoy the monsoon. Sept onwards is the best season to visit Munnar.

Aranyaka Resorts is situated in the heart of the tea plantations in Munnar. It is one of the most beautiful places to see. Just sitting in the room balcony, you get a soul soothing experience. Entire staff perform their duties with a smiling face. Not once they complain or crib about anything. Even during the rains, they were carrying umbrellas and ensuring that our meals are served on time in the room. This is an expensive resort but we felt that this resort is value for money & our stay was very comfortable and luxurious. Food quality, taste, good job done by this resort.
We had a super deluxe room, the view from balcony was absolutely magical. Around 7 in the morning, when it used to rain, the fog used to cover the mountains and the waterfall roar just made everything worth while. We are extremely satisfied with the courtesy and hospitality extended by this resort. Comfortable washrooms, neat and clean beds. I will give 5 star to this place without question.

Thanks to Makemytrip, I got the best deal. The resort was value for money... excellent location away from rush, beautiful view of water falls and tea gardens from balcony. The service of Aranyaka Resorts staff is commendable... I initially booked for 2 nights... But extended for one more night... Good parking space available... Restaurant was good... food reasonably priced... Buffet breakfast was tasty with mixed menu... Liked it.. Rooms were cleaned on daily basis. Looked fresh & tidy... Cottages are also well maintained with good views... Will recommend MMT for giving the cheapest price and Aranyaka Resorts for excellent stay...

View was superb with superb waterfall view. Morning sunrise view was also excellent. Room to Aranyaka Resorts was a bit rough, though no complain, given the amount of rainfall this place received this year. Attukad waterfall is walking distance from this place. Room service was prompt. Food was good. Breakfast spread was just good. Overall a very scenic resort and the main catch is the view and room here.
View was superb. Could see and hear the waterfall, right from our room. Room was soundproof. Bathroom was clean. We were provided with fresh amenities everyday.

Very good location with a awesome view of the valley and attakudi waterfall. Tea gardens next to the resort also adds to the scenic beauty. Staffs are very polite, helpful and co-operative. I was visiting with my wife and 15 my old infant and the Aranyaka Resorts staff was quite accommodating in getting some custom food made as requested. Would visit again if I get a chance and recommend to anyone who is looking to enjoy and relax in the mid of nature. Rooms are cosy and airy. Got a full view of the valley and waterfall from the balcony itself.

The Aranyaka Resorts is at a very beautiful location, surrounded by tea garden and at a walk able distance to the Attukad waterfall. Had booked a super deluxe room and the outside view from the room was awesome with the balcony facing the waterfalls. The room was neat and well kept. The Aranyaka Resorts has good access by road and has ample parking space. It also has convenient access all places of attraction. The staff were friendly and courteous. Food at the Aranyaka Resorts was also good. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

I traveled with my parents and stayed there for two nights. Though the resort is outside the main city centre, the location of the resort amidst beautiful nature makes it really special. We loved the tea plantations and waterfall view from our room. A cab was arranged by the Aranyaka Resorts for sightseeing and the driver was very enthusiastic. The staffs of the Aranyaka Resorts was also very helpful. Overall it was a nice experience and would recommend it to anyone who would like to relax amidst beautiful nature.

A resort with amazing view of waterfall and tea garden. We had a very good time at resort with family. Food is tasty and with reasonable price. Hotel staff is very humble and helping.

Located amid tea estates at the footsteps of a beautiful waterfall this resort is all about its beautiful view. The view from the balconies of rooms is what you pay for. The food too is very good and the staff are courteous and helpful. A short distance from Munnar Town makes this very good overall package for your stay. A small resort with few rooms.

Nice Valley view along with the waterfall. Staffs were courteous and helpful. Room was clean. Local food served in the breakfast, both quality and quantity were good. They helped with the sightseeing information. Really enjoyed the stay. The way to the room is little steep, might be difficult for elders.
