the staff at resturant was not hospitable. Invariably the goofed up the order. preparation of food was not done with utmost care. Some time, salt in the food was on the higher side on other occasions the cucumber in sandwiches were bitter. However, overall taste of the food was good. However, the staff at reception and housekeeping was forthcoming and met at the needs as desired.

Cons:- 1. There is no buffet system for breakfast, you have to order, 2. Your breakfast order have to wait if there is VIP guest present in the hotel, all preference will be given to VIP guests, 3. Last time when I stayed I left hotel without having breakfast, 4. Location is in the outskirts . Pros:- Property is great and rooms are near and clean.

Headline: “Arogya-Dham? More like Aarogya-Doom.” If you truly value your health, peace of mind, and sanity, give this place a wide berth. The irony of the name Arogya Dham is painful — staying here is far more likely to damage your aarogya than restore it. The so-called Vaidehi Suites (their “premium” offering) are located nearly a kilometre away from the main reception. There’s a separate reception desk there — but no one ever sits at it. With no intercom or landline, you’re left to fend for yourself. The only “support” is a Google number that works sporadically at best. Basic courtesy is missing. The security guard twice refused to open the gate — once after making us wait endlessly, and another time, asking us to open it ourselves since he was having lunch. Power cuts are routine. Generators are turned on only if you repeatedly plead; otherwise, you’re left stranded in darkness — even late at night. The most horrifying moment was when my mother, a heart patient, was left in pitch darkness while bathing early in the morning after sunrise due to a sudden power cut. Soaked, terrified, and utterly vulnerable — that’s the reality of “wellness” at Arogya Dham. Beds are average, service is indifferent, and the staff remain unapologetic through it all. For perspective, River View Resort nearby — though not spotless — is far more professional, reasonably priced, and at least delivers some value for money. Verdict: This is not a retreat, it’s a nightmare. Overpriced, uncaring, and unprofessional. If you are even considering booking Arogya Dham, do yourself a favour — don’t.

Excellent location and environment. specially liked open green spaces with lot of trees. Food was very good. tasty, with less oil, home grown vegitables. Rooms are spacious and cosy. specially suitable for resting and rejuvenateing for a few days amist pure nature. added benefit is ayurvedic treatment if needed.

Everything was great, more than anyone can expect. Its 50 acre area, just amazing. Food and staff is amazing

Arogyadham is a beautiful Resort with Ayurvedic Hospital cum Therapy Centre! Nice Vaidehi Twin Room with Balcony! Though the room was a bit small, but it was manageable for our Group of 3 with an extra bed! The Property is expansive... with Lush Green Gardens & Surroundings... & a big Water Pond towards it's entrance! Amazing Veg Food & reasonable too! Good Parking available. And Golf Cart resort tour facility! Property is just besides the amazing natural waters of Janki Kund.

The experience of stay at aarogyadham swasthya kutir chitrakoot was absolutely amazing. The property offered us very serene and peaceful environment. Ours was mandakini cottage which offered the view of holy river mandakini. The cottage was very well kept, clean and well served. The most beautiful thing about this property for me was the gaushala where only indian indigenous cows were taken care of and bred. I got the opportunity to feed the cows and spend some time with them which was great experience. The restaurant serves fresh food mostly grown within the property and the ghee is a must try as it is made from the cows’ ghee. My stay was for 2 days, but i must suggest you should go there for atleast 5 days. Overall, it was an outstanding experience

After lots of research we booked mandakani cottage in arogyadham swasthya kutir and fortunately it turns out to be the best place to stay in chitrakut. Very well managed. Whole staff is very user friendly and efficient. Food is superb, just the restaurant service part needs little polishing. Overall excellent place to stay with family in chitrakut
