Ashhok Hassan

The Ashhok Hassan is in a good location. Exteriors are well maintained and have sufficient space with a front garden. Pleasantly maintained. The Ashhok Hassan lobby and seating areas are fairly well maintained. However, the Ashhok Hassan room left a lot for asking. bedding was good. The blankets and duvet covers did seem properly washed and crispy. The room decorum was very depressing with moisture marks on the wall and no paintings or artwork to enrich the ambiance. The washroom was tiny and not well maintained. Hard water salt stain all over the place. Mirror had a lot of dust. The shower cubical seemed like it wasn't washed for ages. Staffs were polite and courteous. The service at the restaurant could have been better.

Location is easily identifiable-heart of Hassan city. Still peaceful, since it is off from main road and other end is isolated. Staff is ok but hospitality could be little better for this class of Ashhok Hassan. Stayed for 1 night in standard room as couple. Room size is ok but cramped bathroom. Bathroom is clean but looks old and antique. Cleanliness is pretty good. Limited service staff and respond only when ready required. Breakfast is good and tasty authentic South Indian vegetarian food is available. Overall, just about it slightly less than value for money but in terms of ambience and amenities, probably best in Hassan.

The stay at Ashhok was a good choice because we could make day trips to areas like Belur and Halebeed, Chikmaglur, Shringeri, and Sakleshpur. The Ashhok Hassan is situated in Hassan, but not exactly in the chaos of the city. The property has a swimming pool, a poolside bar, and a buffet restaurant. The buffet spread will lose its charm after two days as it may seem monotonous, but the friendly and pleasant staff make up in the service department. The Ashhok Hassan rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms are well equipped although small. Overall had a pleasant stay.

We stayed for 2 nights to visit Belur and Helebidu. The visit to Shravanabelgola was disappointing as the Gomateshwara statue is encased in scaffolding for cleaning.
The staff at reception and restaurant were excellent both front desk managers were very helpful. Concerned about that we were comfortable in every way full marks to Mr. Shahaji. The chef also prepared non spicy food for me. There was ample parking on the premises. The ambiance in and around the Ashhok Hassan campus was very relaxing with a maintained garden and tall shady trees. WiFi was good.

The Ashhok Hassan staff was very helpful and I got the experience of it when we checked in after the midnight and also when we had the breakfast. We checked in at around 2AM and the process was hassle-free. The breakfast was good with lots of options. The Ashhok Hassan has a good parking area where you can park your car easily. The rooms are well maintained and has good amount of light. All in all it was a good layover on the travel from Bangalore to Mangalore. In fact it exceeded the expectations I had for any layover during the journey.

We chose this Ashhok Hassan since it seemed the best among options and centrally located. As soon as we drove into the property we were elated as it looked even better than we expected. The Ashhok Hassan is more like a resort with a lovely gym and pool and spacious environs. The entrance landscaping is just splendidly beautiful and alluring. The rooms are as expected and beds very comfortable. The restaurant food both a la carte and buffet was very good.

It’s in the center of the city, on the main road and just a kilometre from city and state bus stands. The property is huge and has spacious garden and a lovely pool. I just had free breakfast at the Ashhok Hassan and the spread was awesome, lots of options to choose from. The room and the bathroom were clean. All the covid protocols were followed at the Ashhok Hassan. The staff were very courteous. Had a very pleasant stay.

1) urgently need to get the premises painted - inside and out. Name of Ashhok Hassan outside to be fixed. 2) quality, quantity & variety of food served in buffet to be improved 3. Very few waiters speak english properly and know very little of kannada or any south indian language 4)staff demography to be looked at too many from west bengal and/or jarkand

The stay was good, ambiance was awesome.

I hv been staying in this Ashhok Hassan since 10yrs for my business travel. Old n grand Ashhok Hassan situated in heart of city. Kota too far frm bus stand and railway station. Lots of greenery n walking area. Decent staff. Didn't had vallet parking. Has swimming pool as well.

Location is very good, heart of the city, But still the ambience inside the Ashhok Hassan is very good. Swimming pool is very well maintained. Breakfast lots of verities. Taste was just okay. Pool table was not in good condition. Tariff was little on the higher side.

It is clean and rooms are maintained well

Very supportive staff, very nice location and very good food. Cleanliness especially in the washroom room were not good, there were no soap holders in the shower but when informed everything was fixed within 30 minutes.

All departments are excellent and specially food is very food

Average rooms, maintained quite well, good service by few staff. Parking is sufficient and close to Ashhok Hassan rooms. Food was average, few items were good. They do have coffee shop. Priced bit high for a city like Hassan.

Great Ashhok Hassan, clean and nice premises, cordial staff. Nice food. Enjoyed.

If different variety of food is offered during breakfast and dinner then it will be good.
