Ashirwad Homestay

We stayed at Ashirwad for 3 days, from 20-23rd of Feb. We had two rooms, one AC deluxe and another single room. Make my trip's positive reviews about this property propelled me to book it. At first I found difficulty to find it. But in fact it's just a couple of minute away from main road. Located in interior, hence free from regular chaos. Rooms were spacious, clean and with a small terrace. Staffs were humble. Food items were of limited choice but tasty. Two things that I didn't like about it - 1) They have no housekeeping services. 2) There was no water on two occasions. They started the pump only after multiple requests. It left a bitter impression for us.

The stay was wonderful as always, the rooms are spacious, well maintained, food was delicious, service was too good as well and it surprises me every time I visit there. The guest house is as good as the people. Kalpa never fails to surprise me with his services, he is a go to man for anything you want, he is the backbone of this guest You can expect the best whenever you are here. Can't think of any other guest house if you want to stay in Guwahati. It is simply the best of the lot.

Ideal place to spend a few days peacefully. Its away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, yet not inaccessible and just three minutes walk from a major center of the city. Rooms are clean and well provided for and the staff are very helpful, polite and provide excellent service. Breakfast is included but if informed well in advance, lunch and dinner are provided. Lot of good restaurants nearby.

Though the Ashirwad Home Stay is in the interior but the location is good. Hospitality and cleanliness. Shri kalpa was such a gentle person. He served food of our choice hot and tasty. He also helped us in arranging transportation, direct us the best places to visit. It was the first time where the owner came to meet everyone staying in personally to find out if all was well.

Extremely attentive staff. Spacious room and clean linen. Bathroom needs attention - small geyser, no foot mat, leaky taps, and cob webs. But all of this is compensated by the helpful nature of caretaker (forgot name) and Kuldeep. Bikes are parked securely and you can leave your luggage on them. No lift available, so elder citizens need to be cognizant.

Very good Ashirwad Homestay, food is very good, behavior of owner is, also very good, price is also less than any other homestay or Ashirwad Homestay, in one word it is worth of money, we did early check in in this homestay, they also didn't take any charge for early check in. All total it is very recommendable for everybody.

It was quite a good stay, the staff is very friendly and well behaved. The food was also very tasty and served hot. Really happy with the experience!

Checked in late night as per their train schedule. They facilitated well. Food was home cooked so they liked it. They also prepared vasihnavbhojan on the day of Pradosh for my mom in law. Very nice arrangement. Will recommend to all and will surely opt if visited Kamakhya again.

Never thought that I am staying in a Ashirwad Homestay, its like a home in staying, service is good, got food at time, and healthy food, and the rooms and bathrooms are clean and hygienic, and view from the terrace is beautiful, I will try to come again in Ashirwad Homestay.

Nice breakfast served fresh and hot.
Excellent Ashirwad Homestay. Nice staff. Very supportive. One suggestion for improvement is to have pest control as cockroaches and mosquitoes were roaming in a/c family suite in which we stayed. Overall stay was pleasing.

Food was excellent and staff behaviour was friendly. Location is excellent.

Loved the fact that they maintained social distancing. And, they helped with everything and the staff was available just one phone call away. Great. Keep it up. Loved the service and the location was good.
