Ashokam Resort Varkala

We stayed here for 2 nights here. While the check-in time is 12pm, we had reached quite early around 9am and the Ashokam Resort Varkala staff was really accommodating and promptly got the room ready quickly as an exception as soon as the other guests checked out. Would recommend to call and inform the Ashokam Resort Varkala in advance in case early check-in is required so that they can make the necessary arrangements. They also arranged breakfast for us. The room was spacious and had a balcony with a sea view, which was our favorite part of the room. The stay was peaceful and food was good. They had breakfast options of dosa, poori bhaji, fresh cut fruits. The property is located near edava beach and they have a small cliff right outside the Ashokam Resort Varkala which has amazing views. The route from the main road to the Ashokam Resort Varkala is quite narrow, and google maps don't always show the right route, which might be a problem with big vehicles/ suvs etc as you will hardly find a space to take a u-turn unless you are an expert driver. The resort has ample parking space which can park around 8-10 cars at a time. Overall i would recommend this place if you are looking for a calm and peaceful vacation.

The location of the resort is the highlight of all. Rooms were good enough to accommodate 3 adults. Only problem we faced was the intermittent shutting of power, may be due to some backup issue. Pool is family friendly, but not clean enough. There is a large scope of improvement for them considering the location. Suggestion is to improve few basic things like during welcoming the guests, including more items into breakfast, to have a clear blue pool and consistency on the toiletries. Otherwise it is very good.

first the location of resort was awesome. beside the sea. the climate and the Ashokam Resort Varkala and garden. looks great. very peaceful. the view from the Ashokam Resort Varkala balcony was😍. wow coming to room. well maintained. cozy. washroom was clean. the room was great. food was good. hygiene and tasty not much cost. the staff was well behaved and took care of whatever we needed. they were very caring. good at talking. I liked the staff behaviour the most.

I had a good experience. Everyone in the staff was very friendly and they helped in arranging things I needed particularly transport. Sea view is comparatively better from 2nd and 3rd floor. 1st floor though sea facing does not have that great a sea view. Restaurant is just average, but there are many good cafés in Varkala where you can have better food. Reaching the location with google maps was an issue. Had to call reception for guidance to reach the location.

We took two family rooms and the stay was amazing. The Ashokam Resort Varkala staff provided all basic & toiletries. The swimming pool was well maintained, friendly staff and in house food was good too. The view from the room was good. The stay is located right by the beach on a cliff. You can walk down from the cliff & you have edava beach just there. The only thing that could've been better is the room walls(it kinda looked unfinished.

This is a newly opened resort. The resort ambience, room and access to the private beach is good. But the service could have been better. Due to less number of workers, we had to wait a lot for room service, for food, for any response. To add, the view from the room is good and the staff are very friendly.

The Ashokam Resort Varkala is placed right on top of the cliff. Every room was spacious and had a Sea facing balcony. The Ashokam Resort Varkala staffs were very friendly. Food could had been better but overall loved the stay.

Very well maintained. Awesome natural beauty. Very courteous staff. Spacious rooms. When we stayed the constitution was in progress. So lift facilities were not there. The canteen was also not well decorated and in full swing.

The stay at the Ashokam Resort Varkala was nice and the sea view in the front takes it to another level. Staffs were good

Beautiful and serene place to stay, enjoyed every bit of it, room service and cleanliness was too good. Perfect resort to chill and have a good time with loved ones.

Awesome property for the people who would like to stay away from the crowd, noisy and polluted place. Beachfront but no access to beach.

Everything was satisfactory, there were many people available to help when needed, and it was worth the money.
