ASIATIC LION LODGE

We have been to Gir a few times, but mostly during early or late winter. This time it was mainly to introduce my son to mango his favorite fruit orchards. Any ways, all Asiatic Lion Lodge is a small, but a complete resort, with all facilities. Rooms are large, well-lit and clean. Pool is small, but resort has just 16 rooms, so it's adequate. Staff is very polite and welcoming, and will go the extra mile to help you in any way needed. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at all, and all 3 were good. Kathiyawadi dinner was probably the best of 3. Their staff member Mr. Nikunj took us to a tour at at mango orchard, and we loved the walk and we even purchased hand picked mangoes from there, the next day. Overall its a wonderful place with best staff members. Will surely visit again, now in monsoon, as suggested by their front end manager Mr. Ravi Kant.

The ASIATIC LION LODGE was too good. It had an amazing ambiance with a lush green garden. The play area of kids was nice as well. The swimming pool was well maintained. Hotel management started the water flow & cleaned the pool as well on request especially for us. Loved its natural surroundings. Groundnut field is visible from the rooms. Morning Peacock voice will wake you up. The food was surprisingly too good. I had expected average food since the ASIATIC LION LODGE is inside the jungle so it's difficult to manage things but the food is must-have. We didn't eat dinner outside to relish ASIATIC LION LODGE food. In Covid time, you can't get a better place to stay. Hotel manager Dalpat Singh was quite amiable who showed animals in the morning walk, took photos & guided on every aspect of the trip. Overall, all staff is too good. 5/5

A very beautiful and echo-friendly property with great ambience, polite and approachable staff. Rooms were excellent, spotless, spacious and perfectly organized. There are many other activities you can do, like bird watching, nature ride on cycle, indoor and outdoor games, swimming pool, wildlife documentary at night, etc. The property has a restaurant with great hospitality and hygienic food. One would fell very close to nature especially early in the mornings, it's quite serene with the birds chirping. They will also arrange for a safari gypsy to be picked up from and dropped off at the property. You have to book your own permit online. Overall a great place to stay and i recommend it to all the tourists visiting gir to experience the asiatic lion lodge.

Location the place is around 8 kms from the Sasan Gir gate, near the village of Haripur, around 5.5 kms from the main road. The staff is friendly, and accommodates requests as far as possible. The check out time is a bit too early for 10 am as most of the guests visiting this location opt for the jungle safari which concludes around 9.45 am for the morning safari. Overall food quality is good, taste is good as well. Rooms are very clean and so are the bathrooms. Breakfast spread can be improved along with the taste. The resort has carrom, table tennis, swimming pool, badminton rackets, decent sized play area for the kids, board games, playing cards. Swimming pool is quite small, more like a private pool.

A perfect stay with family. We visited here with our two kids, they just enjoyed the place to fullest with ample garden space and swings. Food was just awesome, you order anything and it comes out with perfect taste. Special thanks to Ranveer and Hitesh for preparing food without chillies for the kids. Safari point to jungle trail is away from Asiatic, however with pick and drop from ASIATIC LION LODGE it was not a problem. Devalia National Park is away from Asiatic and you can get a taxi for to and fro trip at nominal cost. Ravi helped us in arranging the taxi for devalia. A must visit place with family.

We liked the location of this resort in the middle of rustic nature. Lovely landscaping of the resort, with rows of elephant grass outside each room bringing a refreshing smell of open fields into the room. Excellent food buffets! We also very much appreciated the little movie about the Gir forest and conservation efforts in a nutshell, played at the perfect time of the evening. A lot of thought and effort has been put into this resort, into giving a good experience with international standards of rooms and services, for those who visit Gir National Park.

The best experience in the lap of the nature We stayed there for 4 days and it was wonderful experience. The property, location , food and surroundings were best of you want to have relaxed time in the lap of the nature. The hospitality shown by Mr.Rajendra Singh and Mr. Dalpat ji was upto the mark. Good open space for children activities. Strongly recommended for family as well as group holidays. Enjoyed very much. Keep this spirit of hospitality always. Thanks for hosting us.

Your ASIATIC LION LODGE was very nice. The food was also very tasty. Kashibappu the security guard was very kind. The took us on the morning treck, where we saw 5 lions. Please go with him on the morning treck if you could not see lions on the safari. You might be lucky. He told us not to be scared, he was very brave. It was simplicity at its best. Everyone (staff) were very kind. We got anything we wanted. Every day at 7-8 o'clock there was a movie which was very informative about Gir's wildlife.

It was all over good and comfortable stay and I enjoyed pretty much a lot with my family and friends.

Every thing was good except lodge should have wi-fi, as it's hard to get network from cellular services.

The room was spacious, pleasant and clean. The property has very good ambience. The lodge has good service, friendly staff, good food and facilities. Completely enjoyed our stay.

Improvement in food quality and verity of item

The ASIATIC LION LODGE is well maintained and the staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable. The location is a little of the Road but that gives a feeling of the jungle. But one needs a vehicle to go anywhere. Overall a good experience.
