I have stayed here for 2 days. I have visited the lord jagannath temple along with my wife in the early morning. This property is situated just behind the west gate of lord jagannath temple. One can see the temple from ASSAM JATRI NIWAS itself. Staff behaviour is very nice. They can arrange lord jagannath prasad in the ASSAM JATRI NIWAS itself if you ask for it. Overall it is very nice ASSAM JATRI NIWAS.

Location: good room: sizes and natural lights are good bathroom: big enough but not cleaning everyday service & hygiene : poor staff : not very professional and does not provide guidance. Safety : okay food: not spicy but timing is too late. Lunch time is after 2pm and dinner time is after 10pm. Lift : half of the time not working. A water facility is there but you need to fill yourself.

It was Diwali time and I booked ASSAM JATRI NIWAS room for my parents. They praised a lot about the ASSAM JATRI NIWAS and the location as it's very nearby and affordable. Hotel quality is awesome.

Hotel is located about 300 meter from jagannath temple. House keeping staff are cooperative & behaviour is very good. But receptionist person's behaviour is very rough, it's not tolerate.

Only issue is frequent electricity failure and non ac room to be avoided in hot climate. Ac rooms are best as the temple view is through windows and it is really spiritual surroundings!

In puri you will find good people very rarely. Hotel service and people behaviour is so good. I stayed for 2 nights and i feel absolutely safe out there. Money is worthy. I am happy.
