Astoria Hotel

The lo ation of the Astoria Hotel is very convenient. close to Periyar bus stand and not very far from the station. There is a medical shop roght opposite while other shopping needs like fruits etc are along the lane. The restaurant is spic and span We were told that on the particular day of our stay, they had dinner buffett. We chose the same and it was excellent. Full three course meal starting from soup to crispy starters, choice of breads/rotis served hot fro kitchen, rice, fried ricer, paneer and mixed vegetable, sambar and pongal. There was ice cream at the end. Breakfast buffett was also good. Idli-sambar-chutney, vada,, pongal, stuffed paratha,, paneer vegetable, fruits ( papaya and water melon) along with hot chocolate and tea/c made for a decent spread. The boys were prompt with the room service. Only one area of improvement is regular check of bathrooms. One of them had some stink on arrival, when we brought it to their notice, they tried fixing with deodorant but it is not a permanent fix. Except for this one thing, it was a pleasant stay for us.

Rooms were neat n clean but cleanliness can be improved, ac was making too much mist due to which windows and furniture were getting wet, with proper servicing it can be rectified. This was only in my room and other room booked by me was fine. Food was good, location is on the main road and has basement for parking, temple is near by. Over all it was good experience, worth the money i had paid. Staff was good and available whenever required. I am very choosy on Astoria Hotels due to cleanliness but i found this Astoria Hotel to be with my expectations

We booked Astoria Hotel Astoria for our stay in Madurai and the experience was top notch. As we reached early the Astoria Hotel was cooperative and provided an early checkin as rooms got available( had to wait a max of half an hour). Rooms are clean, hygienic and well maintained. We ordered lunch and dinner from the restaurant and quality and quantity was both good and food tasted yumm. Even the breakfast spread was pretty decent. Overall a good stay near to the main temple and nearby places… Highly recommended!!!

The stay was comfortable. The triple occupancy room was spacious, cozy and comfortable. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The location was super convenient and close to all the important hubs of madurai. I would highly recommend the Astoria Hotel to any family visiting the town. The biggest drawback was the food at the Astoria Hotel. I would suggest one takes the package without breakfast and have breakfast/meals elsewhere in the food city.

Hotel location is very good. Staff is very polite and helpful. Room decor and furnishings are good. We stayed in room 408 and it has very nice view of meenakshi temple from the room which made the stay feel positive. However, bathroom needs to be better. Bathing area taps were not functioning properly. There are no exhaust fan. Should provide complimentary kits in bathroom but unless u ask for it. It's not provided. It's a decent stay for a day.

The Astoria Hotel is very close to the main meenakshi temple (1. 5kms) and is easy to stop right on the main road. Karthik was very polite and assisted us with all the help required. For the price you pay it's worth it. Rooms are clean and compact. Food at the in house restaurant(orange) is very good but the price they charge is premium as per the hospitality at the restaurant and the spread as well

Right from the start - the check in was smooth and quick. The manager had all my booking details in advance. This was a very pleasant experience. The room allotted was very spacious. Lastly our request for time extension was graciously accepted. Overall our experience with astoria was great. We would gladly recommend this Astoria Hotel to all our friends and relatives for stay at madurai

Property location is nearby to railway station and famous meenakshi temple. Rooms are pretty clean with good service round the clock. We did request to replace towels and bed sheets as it had stain marks and it was done quickly. Only downside is room lights are dim and it looks gloomy during the day. And my personal review on bathroom is good, it was neat. Overall nice play to stay.

In my opnion they should provided adequate spece for guests car parking, they are asking to park the vechile by the side of the road, it not safe, all other facilities are excellent, so that i have given the rating as 4 instead of rating 5.

Astoria Astoria Hotel, madurai is a great place to stay. Clean & well organised rooms. Basic amenities in place and extremely cooperative staff made our stay worthwhile. It is very close to the meenakshi temple.

Room maintenence was good. Overall ambience if the Astoria Hotel is good. Courteous staff. Good food. Nice location.

Service, ambience, rooms were all quite good but the restaurant buffet breafast was not all that satisfactory, cold and tasteless with an insipid menu, not an enjoyable exercise. Staff too not very enthusiastic

Very nice accomodation. But the service is poor. The response of the front reception people and room service people are poor. Food is good.

Based on customer reviews i selected this Astoria Hotel from madhura meenakshi temple to this Astoria Hotel 3 kms. But mostly i like the service of Astoria Hotel staff.

Stayed for a night. It was an okay stay. The staff were nice. Breakfast was okay, if not fancy. Would give a 3. 5 rating.

Really the Astoria Hotels room are very good it's well furnace with wooden flooring and bathroom are also looks good vitrified tiles to buy for lv grant h of styles and all the arrangement in the room beds and bed sheets and everything is great
