ASTORIA VEG

Room heater and floor carpeting are not available. These are must particularly in peak winter season. Rooms must be cleaned on daily basis. Room service man power is grossly inadequate. It appears the management is more concentrating on restaurant than lodge. Food quality is good, the crowding is huge and you have to wait for 5 - 15 minute. Restaurant staff are well mannered. Front desk is also responsive.

The ASTORIA VEG is neatly maintained and the service is good. The top floor rooms have excellent ventilation and plenty of Sunshine. The quality of food is good, perhaps the best vegetarian restaurant in Kodaikanal. The best part is the location. Cocker's walk, Lake and Bryant Park are within 1 km radius from the ASTORIA VEG. The bus stand is just opposite to the ASTORIA VEG. Lot of shops and atms nearby.

The ASTORIA VEG was right in the center of crowd. The market bus stand hospital food everything was available in a walking distance. I was there 1st time in. I have went many time. Still Hotel Astoria is a landmark of Kodaikanal. Food is the important thing and it is good in Astoria and the ambiance is very good. So I always prefer Astoria.
Overall, it is next to bus stand. So I booked.

Hot water was av-bl from morning 7 to 11 and 7 to 9 in the evening. There is no room heater. The rooms booked thru ASTORIA VEG had been given 24 hrs ch k in ch k out whereas booking has been given fixed ch k in and ch k out. Food is little more costly and there are no nearby good restaurants. Overall stay was good at the resort.

Hotel is having veg restaurant which serves quality of food. Location of ASTORIA VEG is in front of bus stand and walkable distance from Kodaikanal lake where one can go in evening and enjoy the view. Also there is pastry shop near to ASTORIA VEG which serves very yummy cake along with coffee must try things in Kodaikanal.

We had very memorable stay at Astoria Hotel. Courteous staff, clean surrounding with delicious food at neatly maintained restaurant definitely attract tourist from all over India. Only minus point is TV kept in the room is very old and the management should take care to replace them with latest digital Televisions.

Good Service and Located at Prominent Place near to Bus Stand. The Restaurant adjoining the Hotel is very Good and the dishes are fully vegetarian and South Indian. As near by shops are there, all daily requirements can be purchased easily. As it is near to Bus Stand, many taxis are available for sight seeing

Nice Kodaikanal is good please to visit in summer or rany season you can go by train up to Kodaikanal road and after that you can get bus to Kodaikanal you should plan for two days for visiting all places around. This ASTORIA VEG is near to bus stand. This was a refreshing trip for me and my family

The room was neat and clean. Hot water was available all the times. Restaurant food was good. Room service was excellent. Car parking was easier. The ASTORIA VEG was in main locality so our sight seeing time was saved. Typed

It was comfortable stay in astoria veg. It is ideal for family stays. The food is excellent. What required more is to further neatly maintenance of bathrooms.

The food was available quickly and the service was good. But as for room the quality is not up to the mark for the price. There was no wi-fi and also the bathroom tap was leaking. There are other good rooms too nearby. The place was quite close to lake, coakers walk and other prime locations.

Good food and great location. Car parking on road.
Noise level was high at night due to neighbours. But the issue got resolved after letting the staff know about it.

This was a very good budget stay. Hotel is right opposite to the bus stand and that's such a convenience. Food here in the ASTORIA VEG is really very very good and that's the reason there are people there all the time. Hotel room was decent and clean.

We enjoyed nicely in Kodaikanal and the facilities in Astoria with good food and friendly staff.

A perfect location with good south indian food! However they won't clean the room and change towel if you are staying for more days. Specially south indian food was good but slightly costly. Don't try north indian its waste of money.

Location heart of kodai. Close to everything. Good attached veg restaurant. No lift. Very small and not very clean bathroom. But overall value for money. Would again stay there next time.

It was a nice experience. The location was good. The service was quite nice and my betterhalf also liked it the most. We would like to come again and again to spent our time together as it was great experience. It was worth spending our money in this ASTORIA VEG.
