Atharva Cottages

Its more of a home stay. Good served was good, but as it is at a distant from Badrinath Dham, staying isn’t that worth here. However, owner Rakesh was polite enough to serve.

atharva cottage my stay was the most terrible we stayed here for 2 days where we had multiple bad experiences. First, if you are not having your own vehicle then the guest house people arrange a one-sided personal cab for you for . After that, where this cottage is, there is no facility for outside food, the kitchen is their personal one where you can go to the market 5 km away and get the goods for yourself and you will have to cook yourself.. you will get milk, tea and sugar for making tea in the cottage Like I had procured all the food essentials for myself and my family from Joshimath and in the kitchen of the cottage we cooked all the food ourselves. Then at the time of check out the caretaker of the cottage, that is Mr. Rakesh Bhatt, charged us just for using his kitchen and the kitchen gas, which is a lot of illegal money because I only used 250 gm of gas approximately and drank small cup of chai 5-6 times, which is equal to 12 cups of tea and they charged per cup to us and when we asked, they behaved most rudely with us. I would not recommend anyone to stay here... someone may come to rest for a few hours but I can't recommend to stay here. Thank you

Horrible stay. No water, no geyser, no electricity most of the time, no power back up. Specially in peak winter, rooms are super cold and there is no room heater. Food options are very very less. Will never recommend this place to anyone.

Stayed here on way to badrinath. Situated away from the noise of city, in the middle of forests and near to auli. Every room has a wonderful view of the mountains around joshimath-auli. The area around is suitable for long nature walks. Saw many varieties of birds and rural farm life. Very clean. Owner rakesh is an a very polite helpful hospitable person. 5/5 to him. The food was homely. I will go back here again for sure.

The property was good with a neat and clean room and bathroom. The staff was also very cooperative and helpful.

It was a good experience. The view from the balcony was stunning. Hospitality and owner behaviour was also good. It's value for money.

I have got a wonderful experience staying in atharva cottage, the owner kailash bhai is so good in behavior and also he helped us in everything also his brother rakesh bhai give a us all the room service which is a 10/10. Highly recommended for others.
