Aurahomes

Our stay in Aurahomes consisted of 2 nights only but only those two days, made us decide it in our minds that from our next visit onwards, we will stay there without a second thought. Starting with the reasons why, first of all, for those who lookout for peace and serenity along with a close encounter with the nature over money, I would say this is the perfect place to book. Second, the view from the balcony is impeccable with a view of Kunchanjunga during sunrise, hard to capture it in a single photo. Third, and the last one the behavior of the caretakers of the homestay was so friendly, helpful and indulgent that the place felt like the second home away from home. The food is excellent too.

Biku da the care taker is a gem of a person. He greets you with so much love and warmth that you love the place and the aura on the very first minute. Food was good. View wass excellent. Specially early morning view. Isolated from any kind of noise and hindrance. Totally peaceful nature friendly. And very clean and well maintained property. The owner has two dogs they are so cute as well. You won't feel like getting out of it. And best part is the common sitting area. The top floor with a open view terrace. The sunrise or sunset are worth watching from here and not less than any tourist spot view. 5 stars from me. Rather 6 for biku da specially. Will visit soon :d

Rooms are spacious with good basic amenities like hot water, blankets table, wardrobe etc, make sure you ask for room heater if travel-ling in winter months. Location is one of the best with 5-10mins journey to 3-4 sightseeing points like ganesh tok, hanuman took etc. Hygiene of the place is basic with hand-wash etc provided but yes it can be better. Lastly the caretaker is great. Caretaker, gives good guidance for local sightseeing, shopping, clubbing, food, etc. He is available almost 24*7. Stick to his advice for any place you visit, trust me it will be better.

Everything is quite good about this place. Cleaning, room service, food, management. And the view from the roof is amazing. They are also spiritual persons. A couple friendly stay. Couple can come and enjoy here. Although it is far away from mg marg. But if you have nothing to do much with mg marg then come and stay here without thinking twice. Aura homes is in chandmari. It is a far better stay than any other Aurahomess in mg marg. Ganesh tok, monestry is nearer and this is the only way towards changi lake (30-32km), nathula and baba mandir.

Amazing homestay that has all the amenities you can think of. The owner and manager are extremely humble and helpful. They make sure you have an amazing experience. If you wish to do any trip and haven't planned for it, they will help you with taxi and permits. Everything is very seamless. All you have to do is enjoy the view from the rooftop and your rooms. It's breathtaking. Gangtok has swiggy and zomato so you have more food options with you. It's a hidden gem located around the outskirts of the city.

Standard basic room with geyser, one car parking slot available, because we self driven to gangtok. Food was very nice homely, puri bhaja, a loo paratha for breakfast, veg and non veg thali for lunch, momo and thukpa for dinner. Courteous staff very helpful. It's a budget friendly, but comfortable basic set up. It's clean rooms and towels. The terrace dining space is nice with great views of gangtok.

Mend-up tamang, is literally a ginne of your dreams. You will get anything from him. Moreover you will not fill insecure for a single moment, he is there for your everything, every need. Moreover it's my assumption that it's too tough to find any any any fault or loophole in anything be it food, logging, traveling. You name it. Jinne is there for your service.

This accommodation is so homely, and the people are so welcoming. We felt just at home. The staff is very cooperative. The rooms are also warm and comfortable. We are really satisfied and would definitely recommend this to our friends and family. Also, the food here is amazing. They take customized orders and serve accordingly.

Must visit Aurahomes. The amazing ambiance with great hospitality! recommended place. For solo, couple, and with family as well.

We were senior citizen couple. Left leg of My wife was having plaster due to some accident just few days before. They treated us as senior member of their family and done all the best they can do.

Hotel is good, it’s in upper chandmari which is too far from mg market. But view from Aurahomes is awesome. You will not get any shared taxi from gabgtok stand to upper chandmari. You have to pay rs. 400-500- to reach the Aurahomes.

Everything about the homestay was awesome. the host were very warm n welcoming. they provided us will all facilities. food was very tasty. the view was just breathtaking. really enjoyed the stay. hoping to come back here again ❤️

Location and staff was good. But hygiene can be improved and they serve limited food items. It can be better stay if cleanliness is maintained

Thr behaviour of the owner is really good who actually runs the Aurahomes. I would to love to visit again in future since I feel like I was at my home only. Thank you for awesome treatment
