At the price, the room was great and spacious, the overall experience was great. Although the interior of the room is pretty old and not very well maintained, as the room window didn't have a latch, the bedside lamp was not working, the flooring was slightly damaged from the corner and there was dirt inside. Also service was decent, as got the food on time and was tasty but didn't get the hair blower in the room, which was mentioned in the app while booking, also made multiple requests for it but still didn't receive it. So yes, it was surely great value for money.

The rooms are large and very clean. Large windows, well lit. Nice large screen TV with HD. The toilet is large and very clean, the bed and toilet are spotless. Everything is maintained well. Unlike a lot of places that have small irritants, everything here works fine. The restaurant is good, with good food and great service. There's a also a liquor shop in-house, where you can buy liquor if you are from outside Gujarat. Nice peaceful location with lots of restaurants nearby. You get Uber or Ola taxis easily, and can hail auto's right outside.

The Avalon Hotel & Banquet was conveniently located in a relaxed place. However, since a marriage hall was connected. Noise levels were high. We did not dine in the Avalon Hotel & Banquet so cannot talk about the food. Ample parking available for cars. Staff was courteous. Rooms were clean. AC was functional. Bed was comfortable
Nothing in particular. But would have preferred the room to be prepared with towels etc TV working before the guest arrived. However, towels had to be requested when we checked in. TV was not working.

Central room electric card locking system was not working properly. So, wasted at least 30 minutes behind that. During this time they didn't care to ask us to change the room. We faced almost more than 30 minutes without fan/air conditioning! They didn't put soap or napkin in the room! Need to maintain the property properly! Good location, good service!
